I don't think they will. They disappointed a lot last year, but really made up for it with their awesome Fall conference. I think they have some things up their sleeves, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did disappoint.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
I don't want this piece of trash. I want a little click on thing. The condom is heavy and uncomfortable and not fun to put on the Wiimote. I don't want to have to use it. Why am I being forced? Ugh.
ps3 rulz!
I really don't know why I got disagrees! This just goes to prove my point even further. I wasn't even bashing the game. I was just stating that it didn't have the most sales. And it's true. Monster Hunter for the PSP should've been the story image. Like it was in the article.
It's disheartening when someone who can't even type a legible sentence (BlackTar187) can get so many bubbles. I guess it's not hard. I could go to three hot news pieces, post "PS3 rulz!" and end up...
Oh really? I thought they did it because, out of the 3 current gen home consoles, the Wii was the only one that really had potential for smooth FPS control.
That's just embarassing. For Nintendo, not High Voltage. Gotta feel bad for HV though.
Love how MGS4 is the picture for this news piece, though it's not the best-selling game out of all of them.
Goes to show you how biased N4G is towards the PS3. As if we needed any more proof...
Sounds good to me. If the guy who makes SPOGS Racing goes bankrupt, is anyone gonna care?
I agree, it does look like an average shooter. Why can't you guys be interested in good-looking games coming out, like Muramasa or Little King's Story, though?
Why? I completely agree with the guy. It's a lazy cash-in. If they beefed up the graphics to make it acceptable on the Wii, then maybe the purchase would be justified. By buying it, you're telling developer, "Yes, please make games that are subpar!"
That is the absolute wrong image.
Well, I expected them to put that tech to use and make a pretty-looking game. Stop the fanboy crap. I just wanted realistic environments that are interesting. Take a look at Half-Life 2 if you need help. Granted, The Conduit isn't as bland-looking as every single indoor level of the entire Halo series, but that's still not much of an accomplishment. Still, gameplay over graphics, I guess.
Who plays FPSes for the story?
I think it's the environments and artwork that looks bland. All these amazing, beautiful ornaments, but no tree to decorate them with. For High Voltage, a pole will suffice.
Most biased article ever and title ever.
"PS3 in third place in Japan = king"
"Wii is in fourth place :////////////////"
N4G is the largest collection of PS3 fanboys on the net.
The thing is, Wii games don't need "3 million sales" to be considered a success. Nor do they need sales relevant in relation to the install base. They need sales based on the cost of production of a game for the Wii, which is a lot less than the PS3 or 360. I just think it's kind of funny that de Blob definitely made a way higher profit than Killzone 2. Might be because de Blob tried to do something new and fun.
>Stating that World of Goo a better puzzle platformer than Mercury Meltdown Revolution.
I raged. Mercury Meltdown Revolution is a much better deal too, being only $5 more than World of Goo.
...They don't sell like crap.
Boom Blox and de Blob are nearing or have passed 1 million units.
RE4 has sold around 2 million.
No More Heroes is Suda's best selling game and made the producers "weep with joy"
Apparently CoD:WaW is doing well too (don't have the numbers -- just wiki them)
Okami sold better or near the same on the Wii as it did on the PS2.
The thing with Wii games is that they have "legs." They may not sell 5...
I can understand their reasoning. No hardcore FPS mature games have really sold well on the Wii (CoD excluded I guess) and they don't want to take the chance. At least High Voltage is. Maybe that'll get them to change their minds.
It isn't really an Achilles heel when it's actually getting more play time than any other console.

I don't think MadWorld's all that great, but this review is totally off the mark. How could he not mention the crappy camera, of ALL THINGS? Also, screw what he said, the last boss fight was awesome.
