Beg pardon? I think that a game should be playable when it ships. Is that so much to ask? Today's gamers and gaming companies seem to think it's fine to substitute quality for fast creation and shipment.

I doubt it. I think expectations are spectacularly low since the last few installments. It'd have to be magnificently bad for gamers to be disappointed. We'll probably just get what we expect.

Uh. Mega Man 9 and 10 are some of the best games in the entire Mega Man series. The ole graphics are awesome. Mega Man 9 is my favourite Mega Man game. But yeah, I'd love for an X sequel done right.
His game isn't even that good. It's similar to free flash games you find online. You cannot compare those to full-fledged video games. Ugh. I hope this guy's next product falls on its ass and he realizes how stupid he's being about the whole thing.

Developers can only do so much with what they're given. If they're told to make a game based on a movie with 6 months' development time and $300,000 to work with, do you think the game is gonna be good? It's a shame, but that's how business works. Can't blame one developer.
