First person i've heard has it on PS3, though my friend told me about someone with 1000 gamerscore on the 360 for MW2
Thing is though, reviewers review how "good" a game is, not necessarily how fun. GTA had good gameplay, online etc. Reviwers see games diferently from ordinary gamers in my experience. A lot of reviewers did see this game as the "best" game ever. Large open map, online, choices whcih determine different parts of the story, deep characters etc. Gamers and reviewers have slightly different criteria for their "best" game.
Happened last year with some sites/mags giving "safe" games GOTY. IGN for a start. Saw the backlash against GTA IV (the first game they scored 10/10 in 10 years) so that didnt get GOTY. MGS4 was exlusive even though that also got a 10. Fallout 3 got IGNS GOTY because people liked it and it was a multi plat.
Sniping was slightly annoying at 1st but it was still good. I just want more colour in the multiplayer maps. Colour schemes a bit dull for me. I know its war etc, but i still think its too grey on some maps (Tharsis depot, helghan industries etc)

The YLOD wasnt the main thing that bothered me if you actually chose to read what i wrote. It was the treatment of Sony of the news my PS3 had broke. Even so when i do spend £350 on a console i expect quite a lot of use out of it. It lasted me half the time my PS2 did. And i am back playing - though i didnt pay Sony a penny to fix my PS3.
Good graphics are nice. But gameplay and experience is 10x more important. I'd rather play FFX on PS2 than a lot of next gen games
You can argue whether sony or right or wrong in their business practice all day. Fact is when someone does get YLOD etc sony dont appear that concerned about it. I remember the days when manufacturers etc would offer to replace broken products a couple of months out of warrenty as an act of good faith. IGN really arn't that good at reviews imo. Im taking anything away from Forza 3 - im sure its going to be one of the best racing games this gen - im just saying IGN is rubbish. Just because they are the biggest does not mean they are the best. The reviews are just crap - if a game is a high profile exclusive the chances of it getting below 9 are miniscule.
Heres a list of review scores of high profile exclusives. See if you can see a pattern emerging. Resistance 2 9.5 ~ LBP 9....
Most games have rrp's of £50. Even so, activision are still pissing a lot of people off. If MW2 doesnt deliver though, i doubt i'll buy another activision game. The only thing they really do much better than anyone else is FPS. Most of the other games are movie tie-ins etc.
Beta is slllooowwwww getting into games. its good multiplayer but not earth shattering
Normally takes about 5 mins to get into a game for me. Hopefully the main game will be quicker
Takes ages to get into games sometimes - but a good beta and the animations are fluid. No lag ftw
Suprisingly unlaggy on the Beta. Latency wise its probs the same as Resistance 2. Spawn waves are getting on my nerves. Sometimes ill wait 5 secs to spawn then other times ill wait 15+ seconds. Should just be a set figure imo
