everyone makes this game out like its impossible to run.
It runs just fine @1280x1024 4xAA and high settings (DX9 high) at around 30 or 40 something fps.
I only have a single 8800GTS(640MB), 2GB DDR1 ram, and a AMD X2 4400 (2.2ghz)
I know the processor im using is bottlenecking my system, and the game still runs fine.

So swithing to uncompressed data is going to decrease your load time?
It will only increase the load time. Decompressing data is done quickly on the system, long load times are caused from relativley slow read speeds of opticle...

Monster cable provide no extra quality. (signal is digital, if you were getting noise it would be extremly noticble)
Power bricks are a waste of money. Tvs and sound equipment come with input filering already. Only tv I have that gets lines on the screen when the washing machine is running is about 24yrs old.
HDMI is crap, DVI is better because it offers the same exact quality without the copy prote...
I wouldnt say every aspect.
I like certain aspects from both.
I like the way the asphalt looks in forza (tire marks etc, looks like the track has been used before)
I like the foliage better on GT
Overall I think Gt5 looks better, but some things I dont like about it is the reflection on the cars is too much. Looks like the cars are covered in a thin layer of glass.
And while there is more shadowing in GT it looks a litte extreme. In real life shadows...

That game was pure awsome. Some of the greatest video game music of all time also.
I dont understand why everyone is obssessed with 45nm. The size of the process dosnt change the performance of the devices (excluding powerconsumption and heat). a 45nm and 65nm will both perform the same operation exactly the same.
Cars look great.
Track could use some more work though.

what was a PS1 controller besdies a SNES controller with wings and two extra shoulder buttons.
I could be mistaken, but if you change out the connector you could plug it into a SNES and it would still work.(internals is two 8-bit shift registers)
