Dont get me wrong it looks great, but im not going to go asfar to say that it looks better than the pre rendered....
You can obviously tell that the pre render has much higher poly models and higher resolution textures.

Its all about software, dosnt matter how powerfull a system is, if there is nothing worth playing noones going to buy it. Ps3 will get good games, but it shouldnt have taken them this long for it, and its costing them big now.

I can agree that the wii and the PS3 arent in the same league, but your wrong on the 360 part.
The PS3 is about as far ahead of the 360 as the xbox was ahead of the PS2.
Looking back you can easily see that the horsepower is not the determening factor of success since the PS2 was the least powerfull of the three main systems last generation. It is the amount of content that the system has.

Im confused, why upscale it? if its being software rendered why not just render the picture at a higher resolution instead of rendering it 480, then upscaling it?

Yes ive found no point to HDMI, was just happy with DVI, Why would I care about adding audio to the cable anyways? I dont use my TV, I use my sound system speakers.
I didnt understand why when they came out with HDMI they dint use fiberoptics cables.... Higher bandwith and much less attenuation. HDMI cables cost an arm and a leg (if your an idiot and get them from best buy) I dont think that a single 6ft strand of single mode fiber could be any more expensive than a monster cab...
