I have a PS3, I bought it, it doesn't work perfectly, but it works, and i like it. No game i ever bought works perfectly. I heard some horror stories, but its been pretty smooth sailing as far as my experience. And i have put in countless hours.
Its fun, competitive and DOES reward skill. Those that don't should play a game against some top ranked clans and get their butts WHOPPED!!! lol. Had a game against a clan two nights ago and those guys just ran through the map...

I like the driving in the game. The physics feel great. But as a sim game, there are missing features that should be done WAY before superficial things like fixing light clusters or spelling thrustmaster correct. Real PC gamers will be able to run it at 2560 x 1600 at 120 fps with everything on. Consoles can't even do more than 1920 x 1080.
Not that I care cause my PC can't even run half life 1 at more than 30 fps with everything off LOL. Hence the reason I game on the PS3.

Its gonna happen to ALL GAMES. GT5 online is gonna have a bunch of kids not knowing which button is for brakes and hitting you out of the race all the time with their fewawwi. COD is gonna be full of kids going 1 and 19 and making your team lose even though you were working your a$$ off and these guys were busy looking at the sky.

I've spent a LOT of time with this game on the PS3 and most people do NOT have mics.
I'm surprised Sony aren't bundling a cheap mic with the system yet. I myself have still not found a reason to spend 50 bucks on a mic for my PS3.
You can either get free online gaming and pay for the mic. Or free mic and pay for the online gaming. Choose your poison.
