BIOSHOCK....I has it. Went to WalMart @ Midnight..frikkin ownage. This is MUCH more difficult than the demo.
I will be picking up my copy at WalMart tonight at midnight sharp. Half Life 2 was the previous winner in my mind and it was single player only (minus the mods)
Never been a fan of the MoH series...this does not surprise me in the least.

Hmm...IMO, System Shock 2 should have been 3rd, Half Life 2 should have been 1st place. Great list other than that.
I like the idea of the 1 vs 4000 battle...that's really gotta be climax of the decade for a game.

Wii needs games. Flatout. I'm interested in Metroid Prime 3, Wario Ware, Mario Kart, Mario Galaxy, and some others, but the majority of games I want are not out yet. Wii isn't going anywhere folks. It's selling like a beast and it doesn't even have much software. If it were in stock every where constantly, I would have gotten one by now.
Bloodmask, you read my mind sir. In 10 years we'll see who is winning the format war...probably something beyond blu-ray. There are DVD players that upscale to 1080p for around $150. Why would the average joe care for a little extra sound clarity or picture quality? Truth is, they wouldn't.
Sony needs competition. In truth, if the industry was still ruled by GAME companies I think the fanboyism would be even worse. Think about this, sony was NOT the first big media company to bring out a console; that would either belong to NEC (Turbo Graphix ) or Panasonic (3do)

The reason I see so many comments from angry Sony fanboys out of every disappointment...I've finally figured it out. Mommy and daddy said you could only have 1 console...you figured PS3 was the sure thing *why wouldn't you* and so now you, being a gamer, have this HUGE drought of games and you're trying to all make sense of your wasted time. Your wasted time just may be justified by 2009 folks...when the games aren't all unproven hype machines.
