heard from Sony rep (im an editor for a website) that there will be a big presence of VR titles in E3, so it seems this strange peace and quiet around the PSVR lately, will end. lets hope :)
its kinda funny how most people that bash the game have absolutely no idea about the game. just riding the MS hate train for no real reason and missing what is actually quite an interesting experience.
The performance and loading issues were really not that bad (even Witcher 3 had much much worse in the first couple of months) and they were actually fixed partially with a big patch in the first two weeks and fully/mostly fixed in the first month. ReCore is an underappreciat...
nooo dont! its probably the worst SH games produced by Frogwares since they took over the licence in 2002.
subpar story and a mishmash of too many gameplay ideas and minigames.
play any other Sherlock Holmes from them, it will be much much better.
prices "skyrocket"...
clickbait. not even a 50pound raise, i just saw one sold for 380. "skyrocket" indeed.
plus there are still quite a few stores that have it and sell it.
interesting. it so readily available in UK (even supermarkets like Tesco have stock for day 1 delivery) that i thought that there is no problem with getting it in your hands. Apparently UK is receiving more than it needs? who knows.
but for sth that is being released in a few days, there is no advertisement whatsoever. i am still getting it but i am kinda worried by this apathy from Sony.
is it sold out? where? In UK you can preorder it from every store without a problem and all stores say they will have available stock to sell.
I'm thinking that the lack of any marketing has to do with lack of interest so they are saving money.
hope they don't abandon it in one year like they did with PS Move. i love the technology, played for hours on the PS VR on E3 and am a strong believer but this lack of interest from Sony ticks me off.
bought mine on the sale :)
the negativity has to do with the lukewarm impressions the game left to most of the people that played its demo on the various expos and shows during the year.
i remember in MCM London, there was a 45min waiting for Bloodborne and Destiny and for The Order, you could just walk up to it and play, noone was really interested and people that played, left within a few minutes.
granted, that is a demo but it shows the fact that not many are impressed from what they have se...
it is the difference between seeing the game as a remake or seeing it as a standalone tittle i guess.
original premise the victorian england+tesla+monsters?
hardy. there are a lot of games on similar basis. a lot.
no. it was worse than bad :P
thats weird, i've found many ps4s in Argos and many small stores in Bath and Bristol. It may have to do that big gaming chains sold out all their 1st month stock in advance. just look arround, u can find ps4 and x1 easily ;)
Ahahaha it is so interesting that ONCE MORE, just like MS, they do not give a straight answer.
Ok, it will not require "always online" and sure, it can be "better if you are online".
The question though is: "DOES IT REQUIRE ONLINE TO ACTIVATE A GAME?".
both Sony and MS avoid to answer this by giving us the round about... And with both of them playing a game like this, I fear that one time activation may come for...
Groundbreaking? Inspired? At 1992, Lucas Arts introduces the SAME thing in one of the greatest games of all time, Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis.
Fists Path - where you had less puzzles and more fights.
Wits Path - more puzzles and story and less fights
Team Path - the true path.
not only they had this nearly 20 years ago but each path had nearly 70% diffent main story advancement from the other, creating 3 games into one.

i'm just guessing but probably because you are a younger user?
anyone who was hooked in gaming during the 90s knows what the name Jane Jensen means. She was the writer and creator of the Gabriel Knight series, quite possibly some of the best thriller adventures ever created.
in modern day equivalent, its like saying "rockstar", "bioware", "blizzard" are announcing a new game.
its huuuuge news cause if the game even touches the rea...
Not on PSP!!! damn you! you better announce it on PS3, you better!
Valkyria Chronicles is my favorite game on PS3 and I can tell without doubt that it has the most beautifully woven story in this generation of console games...
Darn, i reaaally hope they change their mind and bring it, in some way or another, on PS3 cause i'm definitely not buying a psp just for this. cant play on handhelds these days.
The game's PC version has already been released in Europe and you can find it in every store.
As far as i know, the 360 version isnt ready yet and will come sometime after the summer.
Review of the game here:

Its worse actually.
The demo is up in every european store except England.
England. not UK. IF you have an Irish account, you can get it from there!
What the hell is going on?
i agree. VC is easily one of the best games this year. i simply cant understand why people seem to avoid it.
jeez...
first it was Beyond Good & Evil. Then it was Okami. Now Valkyria Chronicles.
All of them AAA+ masterpieces and they were snobed by the public. I just dont get it.
Not the only one, i had a very good time as well.
while noone cannot say that EA and Bioware didnt mess up the launch, the game was way better than it was portrayed. overreaction over a lot of minor or even non-existant issues helped a lot to destroy the franchise.
