Less combat with humans would be my preference. In Part 2 we killed hundreds!
In a post disaster world where few humans are left, it is beyond ridiculous to simply butcher anyone that is left by the dozen.
More atmosphere, more suspens and smaller, more meaningful encounters which are used sporadically while you are traversing the world.

They didn't "somehow" get their hands on it. They got review codes. And they break their NDAs but most hide by using no-name accounts, all for clicks and for self gratification. While people that actually respect their NDAs, all have to release their reviews at the same time.
People might say "relax, its just a game", but for tens of thousands of people who are actually decent human beings and make a living as reviewers, editors, writers, content creators etc...

there is no "video game curse". There has only been terrible executives, poor writers and directors with no clue of what made each game so beloved. When people actually decide to stick to what millions loved in those games, you actually get good reviews and results!

UK ps5 supplies have been quite good for a while now. With little effort you can find the console all summer, I've even seen it available on shelves on some stores. I think Sony prioritised UK in Europe and is sending a lot more stock there than in other countries, to ensure their dominance and strong start.

I am hoping the same thing but I have loads of doubts on this one, it is definitely the type of game from a small team that can easily slip 6months.
Lets hope not because 2022 has been left preety empty from AAA titles, very few still left.

@DarXyde, FYI the Nintendo Seal of Quality had nothing to do with the quality of the game, it only meant that that game and publisher/developer had gotten the licence from Nintendo to publish this game at their console.
They did it because a lot of companies were publishing games back then without getting official licence (extremely common during the atari, 8bit and 16bit era from many MANY companies). So the seal of quality didn't really mean anything more apart from the publish...

I like the new smaller models and I really like the new animation.
But the general switch towards street hip hop art feels quite off when compared to the style and history of the series. Plus, the song in the trailer is simply bad, style nonwithstanding...

Once upon a time, Japanese companies like his decided to imitate Wizardry and Ultima.
This imitation from the west, with the appropriate japanese cultural flair and changes led to the JRPGs as we know them. If they didn't imitate the west then, Square Enix might not even exist today. So giving blanket statements like this dishonors a bit the history of his own company.

They do not need to imitate everything 100%. But if the west has created new mechanisms, gam...

The legislation of Japan most people are referring to and erroneously think its an outright ban to foreign sales is in reality something quite different. It was made for security reasons, to ensure that companies important to the national safety of Japan are not bought from foreign entities. At the same time, the legislation states that any such purchases will need to be checked and approved by the proper authorities.
Buying a video game company is not a threat to national security s...

Sony traditionally sends all of their 1st party games 10-15-20days before launch to reviewers and usually has the embargo lifted 2-5days before launch. Its a very nice practice which I wish other publishers followed too (some do in a few cases but Sony does it with almost all of their games). It is very annoying to receive a code for a 30-60h game 3-4 days before launch and then work yourself to the bone and play overnight with liters of coffee for support, to manage to meet the launch date a...

to be honest, I don't expect much improvement. PB have been stuck a bit in the past and it has gone from charmingly retro to tiring game by game. They really need to step up and update certain parts of their gameplay, even for oldschool gamers that loved them from the Gothic era, a lot of us would like to see this very talented company to take finally take a bold next step .

this is significantly better than the first one. improved in combat, in story pacing and by reducing the terrible detective mini games.
its not perfect and it does make some big mistakes with its side content but all in all, i enjoyed it quite a bit more than the first.

I don't see the problem at all. The series split in two paths. Like a Dragon will be turn based JRPG while Judgement will be classic Yakuza. Both games are great in their own right for people who like each specific style of gameplay.

If I play a multiplayer game, I play for the GAMEPLAY. I find zero incentive in paying or grinding for cosmetics. So in my book, they can charge for them anything they want, I don't care at all. Especially since its a first person game and I almost never see my spartan :P
In the end, it is a free to play game and it needs to earn its huge production costs from somewhere.

the last one was so bad that I am going to be very cautious on this, especially seeing how poorly the flying mechanism looks. I hope they have what it takes to bring the series back to its old glories.

I agree on everything except 5.
5 had some very interesting changes in the gameplay like the jets and the climbing so I loved the gameplay, but daaaamn the campaign was terribly written and uninspired.
Halo is popular because of its multiplayer, for sure. BUT it is very well loved by a huge amount of people for its campaign too. So hopefully this time they can deliver on that front too, MS needs such a win.

The real reason is something else. The stores get most of their money from sales of games, the consoles have a very low profit margin for them. And a console that will give all of its heavy hitters through gamepass, means that the stores are not going to see a lot of money.
From their perspective, it is much better to "trash" xbox to a customer and then "push" them to switch or ps5.
