For me this is really frustrating, and even more seeing that X1 has this feature working for quite some time already. I play in short bursts of 15-30 minutes and waiting for the console to start and load the game is really annoying, and sorry, not all checkpoints are 2 minutes apart, so sometimes you lose quite a lot of play time by reloading a checkpoint. It would be ok if they hadn't promised it in the PS4 conference. Also I love fighting games, and being able to suspend in the training...
I'm in chapter 9 and I keep wondering what' wrong with this game to get 1 or 2/5 reviews. Graphics are mind-blowing, the story is pretty interesting, the setting is cool and for once a shooter that's not generic military shooter with empty characters, length is fine at this point for a campaign shooter, since when 8 hours is a short game for a single player game, gameplay is the typical 3rd person shooter, no big innovations but nothing broken that's what some reviews make it...

I'm now playing Borderlands 2 and it's mindblowing how well it plays on a portable! It really makes me sad that this game can work on Vita yet we now only get indie games and nothing else, when it can do so much.
No matter how many times people say that the WiiU has a fantastic lineup, i really only find Bayonetta interesting. Besides consoles are long term investments, I don't see the wii u being around for a long time, I'm sure first party titles will be around but I don't care much for their franchises in any case.
It's a console one year older, so it's got more dev time from Ninty in comparison. I think 2015 will be the year that we finally start to see what next-gen is really about, while Nintendo won't be able to do much in comparison.
As always, for those that love their games, good for them, I love a Mario game like everyone else, but I'm older enough to prefer other games more.

Bioshock 1 and BI are two of my all time favourite games, whatever he develops i'll buy it.
WiiU isn't dead, but it doesn't matter anymore. I'll probably get it when it hits 200 just to play Bayonetta 2 and a few more.
I'm sorry for Dragon Age since it's a great game, still it says a lot about piracy, since it's one of the few games that hasn't been cracked yet. Weren't games downloaded 10 times per 1 original game sold? Maybe piracy helped people test the games before purchasing it instead, even more on PC where you can't really ...

Much better than last year, I actually really enjoyed it. I wished we had bigger reveals, but watching some new footage of Witcher 3, No man's sky, Zelda, The Order, Bloodborne, and so on was good enough for me. Also Before looks interesting, the King Quest history video with Roberta was fantastic, same with the first look of the new game. Even Dragon Age won best game (thank god it wasn't Hearthstone), so I really liked the new format.
Actually you can buy an Oculus Developer Kit 2 (DK2) right now and play with Elite Dangerous, when its fixed of course, it worked great until now. There are currently several games playable with it right now like Assetto Corsa, Eurotruck Simulator 2, Alien Isolation, Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2, and so on. There are even VR injectors that allow lots of PC games to be played in DK2 like Skyrim, Bioshock Infinite, etc. So yeah, lots of stuff to do with an Oculus right now.
Don't dismiss Android, it really gets some gems around: Just today Banner Saga, but also Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale Enhanded Editions, Shadowrun RPG, Modern Combat 5, Telltale Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us, Dragon Quest VIII, Thomas was alone, Minecraft, GTA games, and so on. Add lots of fantastic emus even Nintendo DS, PSP, Dreamcast, dos games, even some old OpenGL games like Jedi Knight games or Doom III, and vs all other handhelds, it's still a phone and so much more.
This game + HOTAS + Oculus Rift is the best thing I've played in years

I've been playing it lately and I'm blown away by how close it is to an Elder Scrolls game. It has great quests that actually change the environments. You will see enemies conquer a zone, towns burning, villagers celebrating you freeing them, and so on.
