On my part, I'm getting the Vita version of course, fighters just feel right on Vita with that godly dpad allowing me to train tough combos anywhere. I'll also get the PC version mostly for the mods, there are lots of awesome mods for SFXT, SF4, MK, and I expect no less for Injustice.
It really looks good, but I'm not getting a WiiU yet.
Give me 5-10 exclusive must haves and I'll think about it, right now only this looks interesting.
Sadly the 3rd party situation makes the console depend on Ninty itself, and we know how slow they are releasing games.
I wish them luck though, they make amazing games, but this generation is going to be really tough for them, they have a lot of lessons to learn and fast if they want to succeed...
Exactly, the problem was the tons of trash that flooded the market. If you compare that with the GTA V, Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite or Rayman Legends, which have been taking tons of 10s , we're sure not lacking quality gaming at this moment.

wat? gateway card recently released makes 3ds backups work just fine.
I have one and its amazing. The Riftcoaster demo is simply mindblowing, all my family were amazed with it. Even though I've been following the rift for months, I was surprised by the immersion of the OR when I finally tried it, it really feels like you're there, I can only imagine how good it will be when the resolution gets improved.
I don't think so. I have a 3ds an even in that screen size, the heavy aliasing is terrible. I can't imagine how it would look on a TV screen, Vita will probably look low res, but the 3ds would be a lot worse. If they can upscale it or add heavy AA, maybe.
Some day I'll understand why watching a barely naked muscular male like Kratos and so many other characters is perfectly fine, while watching a barely naked woman in a game is some kind of sexual abuse. I really have doubts on Nintendo's future. WiiU is a disaster right now, and 3ds it's really showing it's age, with graphics equal to a 3 or 4 year old smartphone. Nintendo has been stubborn on accepting many modern developments on gaming like online, trophies, social gaming, etc and may now pay the price for that.
I think vita console as a remote controller must happen since it's already working on ps3 so it's not much of an issue. In any case, I can imagine that many games could be patched to work on vita TV, most touch controls should work just fine with a pad solution.
I can imagine the Vita could connect to VitaTV as a controller via bluetooth so that you get all touch controls working on the big tv, it's already working as a ps3 controler in some games so it should be a no issue here.
huh? isn't halo the game that for some reason a ship AI is a hot blue girl? that's a very respectful, non-exploitative design of an AI
I really hope this happens indeed.
This next gen is not that tempting to me, I see Killzone, Ryse, Forza 5 or even Titanfall and they are far from a huge leap from current gen. Maybe it's that current gen looks ok still, but I feel underwhelmed with the whole thing.
VR really looks like a big step forward on gaming immersion, and a really different way to play games, not just more shiny stuff, better looking flames, realistic light effects, etc so I really hope...
Right now going into holidays with gamecube Zelda remake, a 2d super mario and a same old donkey kong looks like a one way ticket to the slaughter house vs x1/ps4. Give me 20 must haves and 200 price tag and I may even start thinking on getting one, at this moment I'm hyped only with PS4 and oculus rift.
what? I've been playing on 3d with nvidia 3d vision for years and I haven't had a single issue, as many others, check nvidia forums, what kinds of nonsense I have to read here.

In the end the better games will decide the winner.
Still I think Sony has a clear advantage in almost every front.
1) Better hardware, that's almost undeniable. Better GPU and faster RAM. Kinect hurt X1 specs, adding Kinect to every console at a reasonable price made them cut power to lower costs, maybe to no good reason since motion gaming relevance nowadays is questionable.
2) Better in house devs. Naughty Dog, Polyphony, Santa Monica...

So happy about this! I really wanted this game on my Vita! Besides PS4 version means remote play, so lack of online players won't be much of an issue if latency is good.
