I just bought my PS3 2 wks ago because of some misfortunes with my 360 but I'm having second thoughts I had Rainbow 6 for the 360 and I bought it for the PS3 and let me share this it is no where as good, slow frame rate washed out colors and graphics I would shoot my pistol and after the recoil I would then here the sound and looking thru the scope OMG it looked like PS2 graphics let me say this if GRAW 2 looks this bad I will buy another 360 and a replacement plan I think SONY made a mistake...

MS says there is no problem remember and a second heat sink will not fix DVD drive issues, loud fans and video diplay issue and sound problems. U my sir are correct, but U forgot the loud DVD-DRIVE and COOLING FANS and ferquent break downs and NO HD-DVD or WI-FI but you can buy the network adapter for $99.99 and HD-DVD for $199.99 now compare costs.

I agree the 360 has a few issues: 1. Loud fan and DVD drive. 2 overheating and won't read disc's of any kind. 3 Always locking up after 1 or two hours of use. If MS sells 65000 360's in North America in a 30 day period and 250 a day in North America are returned defective thats 7500 systems a 11.53 % failure rate almost 4 times what MS says this is an estimate. The best buy in my town PH #208-737-0474 has a avg. of 5 broken 360's per week, I don't understand why people keep defending MS and the 360 this is a major rip off of all gamers who support this system and buy the games U deserve better with out us thy are nothing!!!

MS customer support is awful I called 2 times when had my 360, the person I spoke with could hardly speak english and really did not understand my problem end result no help or answers. I've called SONY twice regarding Firmware update and settings very helpful,spoke english and understood my request and responded with a answer in 4 mins. I hope for all 360 owners that MS will fix this issue, but I feel the quailty of products and workmanship in the 360 is sub-par
MS knew about the cooling problem and how it would affect the GPU before they launched the system almost 2yrs later they are adding a 2nd heat sink to the GPU to try and stop the flood gates and YES they need to admit this to the PUBLIC the consumer is the one that buys their product and supports their console the consumer has a RIGHT to know!!
I posted this once before a former MS employee that was a lead (he left to start his own software Co.)designer on the org. XBOX gave a interview to GAME-INFORMER He said the 360's cooling and motherboard had design flaws and the system would overheat and cause complete hardware failure and he felt MS was rushing the launch to beat SONY to market, He gave this interview in Dec. 2004.

U my sir are a true XBOT and thats your choice but don't dog the people who have been thru hell with MS and their faulty system I use to own one and after 3 failures no more and MS still won't always repair launch consoles for no charge the new 1yr warranty was suppose to be for everyone MS keeps putting money in their pockets from sales repairs and XBOX live the can afford to correct this problem and if they don;t they will soon be the losers.
Amen brother after 3 failed 360's and 3 trips to BEST BUY and redoing games and downloads I said enough is enough on the last 360 I told the BEST BUY I'm done can I get a PS3 instead and they were very understanding so I left with a PS3 and peace of mind one lost MS customer, CAN U HEAR ME BILL, anyway the games will come for the PS3, this baby is so quite and no problems at all. No one said the PS3 was perfect, this is about the 360 and I know of 3 Gamestops and 2 Best-Buys in my area their PS3's run fine and only one 360 still working other 2 have out of order signs. This is about gamers not console wars I wish the 360 was better built but its not, we the gamers suffer from poorly built hardware and bad games the XBOX 360 is a poorly designed and built product facts are facts, the WII and PS3 are built with higher grade eletronics and workmanship..
The Darkness was not a port it was coded for each system and if its was a port it should look as good or better,remember the PS3 has more processing power then the 360 says SONY Rainbow Six was aport but still was coded for the PS3 and the frame rate is slower and the graphics pale in compression and why did they not use the edging tools on the Darkness.
