My son has had his 360 since launch not one problem not one and I've had mine for 6mos and no problems so jusy let it go SONY BOYS if we choose to support MS and the 360 thats are choice I sense some envy because its not living up to all the hype.

Great POST BLADESTAR very well said and full of HARD FACTS. SONY should have made a GAME CONSOLE 1st I think also only having 256MB compaired to 360's 512MB makes a diffrence also and SONYFAN BOYS have SONY to thank for no online play to rush it into market because of lack of games.
A game thats on PS3 and 360 looks better has more options and online play for the 360 and GUESS what SONYFAN BOYS this one was coded for the PS3 first now what??? were is all that MIGHTY CELL POWER.

I think so I love mine and it has great titles and a great on line service. For the price and the amount of games YES buy a extended warrant and if you have issues replace it. POUND FOR POUND best deal right now. I don't mind paying for the online service some do and thats their choice after all thats what its all about CHOICE....

Will people still be playing games on the PS3 in 10yrs yes they will be but it will be outdated and new systems from MS and Nintendo will be out I think SONY is wrong on this one,people still play the PS2 but DEVs have changed there support for the next GEN and the same will happen on the PS3 in 3 to 4 yrs and SONY is having trouble right now getting DEVs to code for the PS3 right now what happens in 6yrs or 9. Right now the mighty CELL processor is getting its ASS handed to it by the 360!!!!...
The new PS3's 60GB and 80GB will no longer have the PS2 chip so it will not be able to play PS2 or PS1 games with out downloads, I don't think its about money its about GAMES thats why they are called GAME CONSOLES and right now the 360 has the best games hands down....

3 year warranty is very good and taking care of past repairs and repaying owners is good. I love my 360 and the games and the ones coming its a matter of choice and I choose 360 and some will choose the WII or PS3 the GAMES for the 360 ROCK Thanks MS for the new warranty GAME on everybody.
Sega stepped on alot of Devs. toes and SONY's starting to do the same they better wake up real soon and I don't think Dev's will start coding first for PS3 on muiti-platforms until SONY has sold as many PS3's as 360's in the market.

I remember back in April when MS confirmed the ELITE, SONY said there was no need for a bigger HD and they would not be replaceing sku's in the US now we have a new sku same price bigger HD and no emotion engine what price drop???? The dropped the price on the 60GB by 100.00 just to get them off the shelves which I guess is ok but why the change now.
