Or a player could just be careful not to kill the NPCs like many of us who put over 300 hours into this wonderful game. I never "accidentally" killed anyone in all that time. I was just careful when setting down the controller mainly. Since there is no pause you usually take your breaks in the Nexus, where many NPCs reside. Just be careful. No pausing even when playing offline is the biggest problem with this great game (in my top 5). If you have kids, are on call with a job, answer...
too many ads in that story for sure
Stupid. I hate western movies but I really enjoyed RDR after the Bonnie MacFarlane portion of the game.
it had already mentioned a few times but yeah, Child of Eden is on the PS3. I just read about it (again) in the Playstation Magazine. Looks good on either system.
This article does suck. The monsters are OK once you get past the lack of realism. In the second game I was getting mad at first at the monsters with my immediate reaction being, "these are so fake," as if the rest of the game with the 30 feet jumps is realistic. I gave it a few minutes of thought, thinking about the jumping, and realized that even though I am kind of being drawn into the story, the game is pretty far fetched. While Uncharted 1/2 were not in my top 10 or 20 games, t...
I won't even touch on the others. Mass Effect alone being on this list discredits it. Ridiculous.
There is a highly disproportionate number of blacks in prisons. X number of blacks out of every 100,000 is higher than y number of whites out of every 100,000 in prisons. This isn't racism, it is a fact. For whatever reason, blacks commit more crimes. Stating a fact is not racism. GTA is just showing a segment of reality with the police shooting at blacks as you speak of. Your comment fails.
What is the point of this? There is racism in all media but you never hear about the 11 most racist "movies" or "books." Once again videogames are picked on with a double-standard.
Yes, Fallout:NV was released buggy but they fixed every problem I had fairly quickly. Would I trade this unpolished game for six months more of waiting? No! I'd rather bump into a problem and wait days for a fix as opposed to longing for this game for another six months.
Ha... Watching such a series "while cooking dinner" just doesn't make the cut my friend. You need to actually watch it and get into the series or don't bother. 20 minutes is not enough.
I have nothing against streaming but until they greatly improve the quality and selection I am not on board. Streaming is fine for SD TV shows but certainly no replacement for the new movies on Bluray. People keep saying it is DVD quality. So what. I pay the extra for Bluray discs for a reason. I want better than DVD quality. But it will be years before they offer Bluray quality and most ISPs wouldn't offer such bandwidth anyway. I have a 40/5 connection and I am the first one to say stre...
Darkness was buggy enough.
I loved the Darkness but I had the PS3 version and hit a bug between the 4th and 5th chapters. I even called support (first time ever talking to a tech support in England of all places) and of course they did nothing for me. A patch was NEVER released. I ended up getting the 360 version but could never bring myself to going through that much of the game again. Had I been able to FINISH it, it would have easily made my top ten of all time. Right up there with both Fallout 3 and NV, Demon's...
Yes, F:NV is buggy but there are workarounds to every bug I have come across. It is a huge game and great fun! People always complain about Fallout 3 and the bugs but I had very few problems on the 360. Granted, I got mine a few months after release. I bought New Vegas at midnight Monday night/Tuesday morning. This company is doing fine gobbling up other companies at this time.
I don't agree with this. Just enjoy your games and have fun. I only chase achievements if I really enjoy a game (like Fallout 3 and all the DLC). If a game sucks I put it aside and move on but for an excellent game, achievements add life to the game for sure.
I admit it (that I didn't finish).. It wasn't a bad game. I just got bored and moved on. We all have different taste. I felt like I got my monies worth as far as I got and that is the important thing. I have bought too many games I have played for 15 minutes and put on the shelf, never to touch again. This was not one of them. This game was good long enough for me. I may finish it someday and may not. It really doesn't matter.
No, they need to use a proprietary hardware ID. You don't ban based on IP when most people have a dynamic IP address through their ISP. Your neighbor kid could bet banned one week and the next week you are crying foul with his banned IP address.
I agree, block them for life but do it right.
If buying a used system you will have to call and explain that you bought it used and it will be unbanned. Annoying but simple procedure like calling in a Windows pr...
Sony doesn't make the Forbes 500 list because they are not a US company, not because they are not "united." The Forbes list being talked about is the top 500 US companies. That is what they are talking about when you hear Fortune 500. duh!
Most sixth grade students I know could write an equal or better review. This is garbage. Not only that but idiot doesn't know when to use "too" and "to." I am not complaining because he gave it a bad score. I am complaining about his writing style. This moron has no business writing a review or getting an early copy of the game!!
As far as the score, I am still buying it and playing it, even if all the big name sites shiz on it.
No, they do go off very easily and that is something any normal person figures out early on. Who the heck discovers this for the first time while standing next to the blacksmith in the Nexus? Only a moron. The article was misleading though. Just idiotic that people aren't more careful about killing NPC's in a game the put hundreds of hours into.
