I want my blood back, it is so weird to do an Izuna drop smash the enemy's head and watch the head magically regenerate. It's still a fun game and all but this choice on their part messes things up needlessly. It's like seeing a sword just magically appear in a characters hand with no animation when you have been exposed to a game like NG which actually has these sorts of animations.
The game sucks, play DMC, NG, or God of War instead. The animations are boring, the music is annoying. Just about everything in this game is annoying save for the very, very, very well done voice acting. I hate the stupid arena battles because I never actually feel cool while killing the bad guys who swarm me. It will not be the greatest action game this year because of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. If this game has the same type of camera that DMC has it will definitely not be better than NGS2. I do think it will be a good game though because of it's DMC roots if you will.(DMC while not as good mechanically as NG games are top tier. I personally think it a tie for second place between the NG and DMC franchises behind God of War because of God of War's vastly superior story.)
The point is we want buckets of blood not just little sprinkles. I will miss that in sigma 2. It was actually fun to have the over the top blood effects. Things like that are ok every once and a while.

All I know is that they had better announce a new game and not a port of some other console's exclusive. If that is thier biggest news it will just confirm that the 360 is nothing more than a bootleg PS3. I don't know about you all but I did not buy a 360 for it to be a bootleg PS3. If they do announce MGS4 (A miracle if it happens.) I will laugh hysterically because it won't mean a thing except that Microsoft cannot come up with thier own games.
Heck who knows maybe they will announce MGS4. (Not that it will matter since in the end even GTA and DMC going multi did not matter much at all.) I will laugh if all they announce is some game going multi, they definitely need to pull out something that is truly exclusive.
I remember this kind of crap when MGS4 came out....Then it went on to sell 4million+.
Since the single player is already pretty good, it gives them room to experiment with online modes. If this was a totally new game I would be against it as this kind of game is indeed primarily a single player experience.

Meh I bought NG2 myself because the game is awesome but all this means is that I will trade th 360 version of the game for BlazBlue (For the PS3.) when that game comes out. I wonder if the costume packs will be included in Sigma2 out of the box. If they did include them for free I would worship them forever.
It will be interesting to see how they do the co-op if they are really planning it. I just hope the playable characters other than Ryu have thier own single player campaign. I liked the Racel Missions in Sigma and wished she had a full campaign of her own. I wouldn't mind a full game starring Ayane.
