I haven't played the original yet, but I heard it was a lot of fun and tons of gamers liked it. So its always good to see a developer continuing a successful franchise, and giving fans what they want.

Don't need an i-Phone, any i-Pod Touch will play all of the same games. You can get a new one for like $150 these days, about the same price as a larger-storage Nano. Worth the investment, imo.

Even if the game itself isn't great, at that price, it's worth it for the joke factor.

This game has such an awesome premise/idea. I love when developers really think outside the box like this (outside the hitbox? shadow joke? not sure)

But yeah, from the looks of this so far, I'm gonna have to steal my bro's wii for a week or two.

Sorry, but I guarantee that this release date is not correct.

1. If you've ever looked up release dates on game websites or through GameStop, November 1st is the DEFAULT date to list for any game that is planned for the fall, or for "holiday" launch. Dozens of games are listed in advance as Nov. 1st on Metacritic, GameStop and many other sites, not sure why they chose that month (might be the start of one of their fiscal quarters), but that date is a dead give away that...

This is good news for gamers.

More people with high-speed internet = more people buying more game software

More people buying software = more money for developers to keep making awesome games

So we all win :)

I love those crazy little freaks. I think that's one of the most under-appreciated games on the Wii.

They may be mining the series now (with 4 games already), but if they keep delivering fun, varied experiences that actually use the motions well, I won't complain. It's like Madden in my opinion, if its good then why do they need to change it?

Use the boost to get through!

Co-op is friggin awesome, and makes ok games better and great games fantastic.

Take Resident Evil 5 for example... level design and boss battles definitely weren't as good as 4, but all of the co-op in the campaign, extra chapters and mercenaries drove the replay value through the roof.

And my dad is a huge mercenaries addict...

N64 kicked ass.

If this works, I can finally get rid of some of my clunkers for the system (like Cruisin USA) and get something good in return.

This was the high-water mark of Nintendo as a company, in my opinion. Quality of their 1st-party games went up for GameCube, but tanked for Wii, and they had no 3rd-party support the last 2 gens. So N64 was the last time you could be proud and loud about being a Nintendo guy.

Trading them with friends (or I guess through this service) or just selling them at like a garage sale gets you more.

If you can't do any of those and really plan on trading in, try Game Central cuz the one by me usually gives you about twice what GameStop will give. $15 for Lego Rock Band the week after it came out? No thanks GameStop. $25-30 at Game Central? That's more like it.

This sounds like a sweet idea, but I'd want to see some kind of assurances or details on how it works to make sure you're actually getting what you requested. And that the product you're getting works.

I'm always kind of cautious with used games, and also with online purchases, and this is both of them mixed...

A beta would've caught a lot of these problems, its too bad they didn't have one.

If you ask me, it was Activision behind that decision. They didn't want anyone playing the game ahead of time, to reveal what its like or or anything. They didn't even let reviewers post their scores until like a day before launch, I was monitoring on Metacritic looking for the scores every day leading up to launch. So it was like a total lockdown on the game.

Also might not have wanted...

I haven't played the online competitive much, partially because I hear so many bad things about it. I loved the campaign and the spec ops, though.

I'll still probably get into the online competitive, and just take the good with the bad. It's a great engine/game, so even cheating online can't detract from the quality design. Although I'm sure it gets frustrating.

I still haven't played this, but I'm really meaning to. As soon as I finish Perfect Dark so I can review it, I think I'll try this.

But yeah, its really cool that you can do different styles of play to beat the levels. A lot of games claim you can use different styles, but few actually deliver. Most games that claim that, each level is designed with a specific style in mind. Like Modern Warfare, kinda implies you can go stealth or guns blazing or whatever, but each level pretty m...

Ok so the screenshot from the top is from Enslaved, so I thought these guys were just that out of the loop, that they were talking about some secret project when we already knew about Enslaved.

But read the link, guess not. Good to know that they weren't wrong. And that Ninja Theory is making more love.

If it's an XBLA game, it'll be between $10-20. And honestly, at that price, I really won't care how long it is. If the gameplay is good, and the graphics get close to those art renders, I'll be very happy. And the graphics look pretty good already, even though its still a ways from launch. I'm not sure why you seem pessimistic about this game.

The whole "Games on Demand" argument is pretty pointless guys, seeing as those were originally retail games that were just available elsewhere later on. And downloadable stuff on PC, like Steam, is also a different situation. Clearly I was talking about XBLA/PSN indie games and the like, games that are designed to be download only cheaper games.

It looks good so far. But we'll all know for sure later this year if it comes out.

No the size cap on download games ended a good while ago.

That's why stuff like Perfect Dark and Worms 2 can come full featured, as opposed to Worms 1 which was missing a lot of assets, which had to be downloaded later on for free.

The early previews I saw of people who played it at PAX were good. I'm very hopeful that this pans out.

Its been compared to BioShock lately, partially due to the setting. I'd be surprised if it turned out that good, I mean BioShock was a beast, but it sounds like it'll be pretty sweet for a download game. I mean it looks like that and it'll probably only be $10-20? I'm game for that.
