I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt after the greatness that was Braid but I hope the more complex puzzles he spoke of really interact with the environment. Otherwise the game is just walking around an island finding iPads to play insanely simple free minigames on.

This is getting pretty ridiculous now. The launch line ups of both consoles were already pretty damn thin without these delays. In fact the free version of this one was one of the things I was hoping would tide me over until the real games started appearing. Looks like its a case of starting the new generation with Killzone Shadowfall then going back to PS3 for a few months for me once that one game is done with.
If they had to delay they had to I guess but I do think they lost a sale from me too. The game never looked like my kind of thing artistically but I was gonna pick it up just to have a fancy next gen open world game and see what one looks like. I'll probably have had that anyway by the time it releases now.

I know a far simpler exploit for anyone who doesnt want to go through the hassle of earning upgrades the way the game intended. Simply grab a magic marker, write the words 'you win' on a piece of paper and then tape it up over the screen of your TV. It works for every game out there and you don't even have to buy a copy.

That's good. I have it slightly with red and green. I've never found it be an issue until recently I was playing Zone of the enders HD and at some point where you have to shoot a bunch of small points on a green metal surface I couldn't figure out how you were even supposed to do it with no crosshairs or anything. I expected major problems with online for a while after the mess that was the companion app. I am willing to hold off on online until I finish up single player, I just hope these problems don't come with the update anyway.

Did you ever play Dragon age: Origins? While the basic premise was cliche as all crap the actual moment to moment writing and characterisation was fantastic. I'll grant you that Mass effect basically became a Michael Bay cheesefest in space (while starting out with some interesting ideas) and I haven't played Dragon age 2 but Origins really is better and more intelligent than it looks from the outside.
