Haven't watched the video yet but I loved the first game despite a few problems I had with it. I do hope this time they tone down the "quiet.....quiet......NOI SE AND LOUD SCARY ORCHESTRA MUSIC ALL OF A SUDDEN!!!". The rest of the game was so well made it didn't need the music stab jumpscares to make it creepy. I did think the Whistleblower campaign was a noticeable improvement over the main game though so I'm hoping this one continues that upward trend.

I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna move to PC gaming. I bought a console to not have to worry about keeping up with upgrades in order to know I'm playing the games the way they were designed to be played. Obviously if this is happening now it'll keep happening and it's a ridiculous thought to buy the PS4.5 now and when the next slight improvement in tech comes along have to move onto the PS4.75 and so on. If this was a lower priced add on for the PS4 I'd consider it but I ...

I'm not sold on VR and am really trying to hear both sides of the story as I am worried it really could be another gimmicky peripheral that gathers dust after a week, so I clicked on your comment history to get more info about this VR trial you claimed to have, first comment I clicked on was you whining about how Sony fanboys won't admit how bad Uncharted 4 looks. Yup, you're just a salty little baby.

Honestly the reason it's never looked interesting to me is the LACK of captive risk I see in it. Stylistically it just looks like another cheesy young adult douchefest, with lots of moody gravel voiced dudes brooding and lots of car commercial styled extreme camera pans and swoops. I would like the idea of putting the show in the game if the show looked the least bit interesting but in this case it just looks like a typical generic third person shooter with gimmicky time powers, with the ...

So is this different to the demo episode thing we got free with Final Fantasy Type 0 HD? I think it was called Episode Duscae? I heard there was a major update to that episode but I never went back to try it again. Is the platinum demo just the updated version of episode Duscae or is it a whole new thing?

Personally I can't really complain this month. Zombi does look like kind of a shoddily made game that probably gets old fast which is why I never bought it but as a lifelong zombie fanatic I always wanted to at least try it, and at least it's not a retro 2d pixel art platformer or twin stick shooter that could be played on a mobile phone.

I can't help but think people don't understand just how much of PT's brilliance was down to the artistry of the two brilliant directors behind it and not due to some kind of simple repeatable formula.

I had no idea this was even set to release on Xbox one. Amazing game. I don't like sports games or driving games and this is one of my favourite PS4 games so far, possibly my favourite quick pick up and play party game of the past few years.

Thanks for the link, though I obviously won't watch it yet as I'm still playing through the game, it does sound like interesting watching though so maybe it will help me push through to the end of the game so I can finally watch it.

Okay thanks for the info. I tend to forget people working on a game like this actually need to be paid a salary and aren't just all sleeping on friends' couches until the thing releases.

Can somebody explain to an idiot who knows nothing really about how games are made (me) how a game like this cost 6 million dollars to make?

I mean, I see total conversion mods and stuff made by a few people as a hobby and though I know a full game like this is different I just can't see how it's no money to 6 million dollars different. Don't get me wrong I'm loving the game but I'm putting that more down to the imagination and creativity involved, it'...

Is there an option for 'none of the above'? Or at least for 'whichever but next month can we please get something that doesn't look in every way like a throwaway $1 IPhone game'?

The talk of 'privilege' instantly turns me off but then I DO have some of the issues talked about in this article. I do tend to get motion sickness from many games, especially ones with this kind of bright textureless style, strangely I can play this game for at least half an hour without feeling too bad but one quick play of a Katamari game will ruin me for the night.

I also have red/green colourblindness which I'm still not sure is an issue with this game for m...

I'm not very far into it at all, already hopelessly stuck in more than one place but I'm loving how every puzzle so far has made me think outside the box and reconsider my entire approach to the whole format of the puzzles, which is pretty amazing since on the surface the basic puzzle interface is insanely simple.

So far my only real gripe is while playing on the PS4, why the hell can't I use the touchpad to interact with the puzzles? The controls don't feel b...

Lucille 2?

Edit - Oh well, beaten to the reference by PixelGateUK but I guess that just proves it. It certainly looks far more like her than Morrigan (or at least the Morrigan I loved from Origins, haven't met her yet in Inquisition because relentless soul-numbing busywork).

Really glad this one seems to have fulfilled the promise it showed, I always had hope but was never sure they'd quite pull it off. Still, as much as this is probably my favourite type of game, I'm just finishing up my first long playthrough of the Talos principle which seems like it's a little TOO similar to jump from one to the other and keep it fresh. I may have to play something like This war of mine as a palette cleanser before jumping into this.

After regretting my purchase of almost all AAA games I've bought for the past 12 months or so and being mindblowneded by so many smaller games such as Soma and the Talos principle I'm definitely prepared to pay this much, provided the game is decent. The brilliance of Braid makes me suspect it may be but the way it looks like simple grid puzzles on little virtual iPad screens scattered around a virtual world gives me slight reservations I must admit.

I haven't really read any of the trolling aside from somebody asking if the proceeds from this game go to cancer charities or if the game is a cynical cash grab (which are clearly not the only options and suggesting otherwise is suggesting no artist deserves to profit monetarily from their artwork) ...BUT....
...stay with me here....
...I do hope we're not lumping in bad reviews of the actual game with the trolling. even reviews that go as far as claiming that the gam...
