Mass Effect took 2 years to come out on the 360 and it's not even out yet? So how did they "fail"? It's going to be a great game yes, but you're putting too much stock into ONE game.
They came out when they needed to, admittedly there were some slip ups from Sony Execs and PR early on but they seem to be learning their lesson right now. For the past few generations I always got a Sony system later on but they've proved to me 3 times already (PS1, PS2, PSP) that it might be a slow start but it'll become a juggernaut in due time. Too bad they wrecked the movie by picking someone who looks silly dressed up as 47. I'm sorry it's so true, I've been playing Blood Money again lately and everytime I see the commercials for the movie I get irritated. Alas nothing can be done, but I wish they'd have stuck with the guy who 47 was modelled after and who does his voice in the games.
Man there's something up with MGS4 I just know it. With all that they've revealed so far I know Kojima's saving the big gun until we get the game a la Raiden MGS2. I think it has something to do with Old Snake and the Young Snake, why else would his name be Old Snake on the health bar instead of just Snake?

I said it once and I'll say it again, it plays like Super Farcry with a Nano Suit with vastly improved graphics. I'm picking it up but I hope the gameplay against the aliens is better than the humans, as they all look the same. It really just boiled down to being a pretty shooter for me when I played it. But that's just the demo and I thought I read that the aliens were supposed to be able to change the environment drastically realtime.
I don't trust reviews that throw out 10s...

In any case Tekken and VF are both good in their own rights, they've always played different from the first iterations of either game. If you however bring up DOA being awesome or something, I'm going to laugh at you and tell you to get real. I'm also hoping Namco learned from their mistakes with Soul Calibur III when SCIV comes out because the former was broken as hell.

What? The PS3 will reach its first year on the 11th in Japan, the 17th in the US, and March in EU. Hell it just came out in the middle of June in South Korea, where'd you get the 2 years on the market from? Right now it's WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too early to be thinking about the 8th generation of consoles, the ones we have just came out. I don't even wanna hear PS4 until 2011.
