Hah I've seen it playing on Adult Swim quite a few times, it's awesome indeed.
Quite the contrary, had it not been for Nintendo we don't know what would have happened to the game industry. If you were a kid in the mid to late 80s (I was) then you were more than likely a part of the "Nintendo Generation". Sure as hell wasn't Atari, they almost ruined it for everyone with their freaking Chuck Wagon and E.T. games. CHUCK WAGON!! I'd be surprised if most of you on this site even remembers those commercials but what a god awful idea for a game. And there's still a ...
I'm actually waiting for Burnout Paradise, NFS died to me and each time I think they'll redeem themselves nope!!
He should have brought the dog so he could laugh the clerk into submission.
It was Nintendo's arrogance and backstabbing that got Sony in the game in the first place, remember the joint SNES CDrom deal between Ninty and Sony? Nintendo didn't like Sony's input on the design so they backed out and stated they were going with Phillips because they offered superior hardware. Well you see what happened with the CD-I and those HORRIBLE Zelda games on it, well the sidescrolling one was alright. In any case because of a jilted Sony we got Playstation.
Nintendo's #1, no one should even dispute that. I'm guessing Blizz might be #2 though with WoW and it's kabillion subscribers, starcraft still being played, and diablo.
It's hadouken!! Can you please fix that as it's nagging at me.
The tags are the beacons from the Bullseye gun so all your shots home in on the spot that's tagged. The 40s are the 40mm grenades inside the Carbine gun that you shoot with alt fire.
Still no true answer on the jump button fiasco?
Hahaha I know how to get out of it, that's what we usually tell people who complain about it. But that's the only thing I could think about when you talk about weapon balancing, everything seems pretty freaking balanced already, crap I think I might jump on PSN right now to play.
Doooooooooooope!! I wonder what weapon balancing needs there are though, only thing I really hear is people griping about being tagged. The hedgehog is already powerful, I use that over the frag especially when defending.
Hah if it's going to sell a lot it has to be worth playing, and if you're doing it just for money that might get in the way of the aforementioned point.
I actually couldn't care less, it's a survey and I'm getting StreetFighter IV. Capcom could go piss on my mom and sleep with my gf and then wave a copy of SFIV at me and I'd be like "ok we're cool again".
People with PS3s don't believe the "no games" thing as they obviously own a PS3 and games to go with it. Do you own one? My brother, and 4 of my friends own one and two more about to pick one up. And aside from my brother, all of us also own 360s which we got first. For the PS3 to not have games we sure do play a lot of stuff online against each other and at each other's homes.
I didn't need VGChartz to tell me that either, I don't even trust them since the stats can ...
Agreed, I'm not hoping for much so I won't be disappointed. I'm already counting on ingame XMB not being there. Really I just hope they give us sequential video play as I use my PS3 as a media center too.
Really? I never saw the auto jumping thing, maybe I should go look back some more.
I thought that sounded fishy, you'd think something as big as not having a jump button would have been stated in previews from the countless people that have played it already. Glad that it's so far not true.
I got games to play on it o_O, just beat Heavenly Sword before I got Folklore and I still have to beat that before I even open Ratchet. By the time I beat Ratchet I got like 6 games to play through in November. And I still play Resistance, Warhawk, Poker, and Tekken 5 DR online. Let's not turn this one into another flamewar, the "no games" thing is and it's not even valid anymore.
Hah no one should flame you for that, An Inconvenient Truth was actually pretty eye opening.
You're right too, they had already signed the contract in 1988 though and realized what it meant in 1991. They gave Sony the right to control (and profit from) all CD based software that would be on the Playstation. Hahaha you gotta read the book Game Over if you haven't already, the chapter in it about this whole thing is hilarious.
