Those of you without a PS3 can easily say that "we shouldn't be whining" without fully knowing what you're talking about. PS3 firmware updates ≠ PSN and our paying or not paying. It's more akin to the SAME updates that are done on the PSP. It's a system update, you're not supposed to pay for it jackass. You don't pay for dashboard updates, you pay for Live.

I'm glad they delayed Home if Kaz wasn't even happy with it, I hope they're working hard to at least deliver all of the features that have been in the trailers on launch. I'm still holding out on Monster Hunter for PS3 because I don't think Capcom ever stopped development on it. 2007 is going down good in the games section and 2008 looks to be even better.

Yeah I'm hoping that cause and effect mechanic from Prophecy carries over to Heavy Rain somehow. Unknowingly setting myself up to catch myself was really awesome. Sad that it didn't carry throughout the entirety of the game but I think you're right about the time constraints, can't wait for Heavy Rain.
Yeah my 360 scratched the hell out of my Condemned disc FOR NO REASON. The system has been in the same spot for like 9 months now and no one moves it because of how it's placed. Yet I'm playing the game and start hearing a grinding noise then get the DRE so I pop it out to check and I'll be damned.
If they did they'd have a new VF5 customer in me, love the game and all but unless it's Street Fighter I can't go back without online fighting. There's just something awesome about the matches on T5 especially when voice chat is enabled with like 6 people.
Man I almost cursed when you mentioned the 2nd half of Farenheit/Indigo Prophecy. I have no idea what Quantic Dream was thinking of but DAMN did it take the twist it should not have taken, I literally shouted "WHAT THE HELL!?" when it happened. Otherwise it's one of the best adventure games I've played, here's hoping for Heavy Rain. Have a bubble for stating the awesome.

I'm actually leery of reading this because of spoilers, but I was always wondering what the sci fi aspect was. I too hope it isn't time travel but I'm guessing it is, since this is the first in the trilogy. Altair's probably an assassin tasked with killing off key members in historical events to alter (his name kind of sounds like it) the course of time. I hope I'm wrong though and it's deeper than that.

My PS3's been on since July 6th only rebooting when updating firmware, no failure yet!! 60gb is the way to go kids, but I find myself doubting this story's commitment to sparkle motion.
