GOD DAMN!! I am buying this game day one. The enemies are actually. ..SMART. They've been outflanking me so I had to unlearn everything I learned from previous cover and fire games. You definately can't rely on cover too much, they'll move in on you and things will get black and white reaaaaally quick. The melee combos are so awesom...

I don't think MS would anytime soon, that'd allow too much user control over the Dashboard. I'm fairly sure they don't want it to be hacked to all hell from some theme exploit which is why it's locked down so.

There's a difference kid, MGS4 and FFXII != this year's roster update of Madden, NBA Live, and whatever gimmick NFS is doing. PS3 owners will purchase the first two, can't say the same for the others. Most of those were crappy port jobs to begin with, would you seriously spend your money on that? Aside from the fact that both games have been constantly deemed exclusive but we won't beat that horse anymore.
It's their fault for crappy games, Sony didn't make them. Funny I remember so many 360centric people laughing about how bad the port jobs were for the PS3 version of EA games, now you're going on about people not buying them? Would you have purchased them?

I'm speaking from experience man, I only own 5 EA games total now and they've been from the past year or two: Battlefield 2142, Fight Night 3, Burnout Revenge, and NBA Street Homec...
When EA starts releasing games I actually want I'll purchase it regardless of the system. So far that's only Burnout Paradise, Spore, and Dead Space which is a year away. Sorry I don't like Madden, Tiger Woods, NBA Live, The Sims, Boogie (even if it does have a Jamiroquai song in it), and Need for Speed is dead to me now. No one can complain anyway with the crappy portjobs they were doing on the PS3, GEE I wonder why they didn't buy your games.

They should just put the whole game on the PS3 disc and then axe what can't fit on the DVD on 360 and sell it to them as DLC. Hah that's sadistic and wrong but funny.

Hah I care about the story when they're tampering with my childhood!! I can just stare at the spouse for free. I go see Transformers for the dope robot battles, not some phoned in generic love story. All of that is trivial though, biggest gripe was Optimus looking like a giant robot monkey when he didn't have his mask. Oh yeah I'm naming my first daughter Soundwave so she can name her kids after the tapes, just gotta prove to the missus how awesome it'd be.
A delay is temporary, a bad game lasts a while. As long as it's good when it comes out I don't care how long it takes UNLESS it steps into Duke Nukem Forever territory. I'll be too busy gaming with other stuff next year so while missed, I won't be going without.

The ONLY thing I'd give the Dashboard over the XMB is that the marketplace is integrated with it's own blade which WASN'T always there in fact it became available in May. Oh and it shows when someone is watching a DVD. Otherwise the Dashboard is clunky as hell and aside from switching blades which is really fast, the rest is a chore to go through if you need to get too deep in.

Yeah man that's UT, I'd have been pissed had they tried to stray far from what it is. We already got pissed when they took out the sniper rifle for that LAME ASS lightning gun in 2k3 and they swapped them again in 2k4. I was happy for the demo except they kind of gimped some of the advanced controls I think in favor of consoles. No more dashing wall jumps unless they just took that stuff out for the demo.
Even after IW said it was identical, and the constant barrage of video comparisons showing the SAME thing people refuse to let it go. Uh play the game instead of wondering which one looks better?
