No they're not going soft, ThatGameCompany has a track record for some offbeat HIGHLY innovative games. Flower seems to follow it, I for one can't wait considering how much I love flOw. Stuff like this is crucial in pushing games as an artform and into new territories. We've all played "Shooter 20983742098372" but don't you want to play something DIFFERENT sometimes?
Sony's doing good with the PSN by pushing it to indie devs to get some games that major publishers pr...
Dude don't do that, you'll be no better than the "xbots" you're talking about.
Yeah Ju, Epic has said that it runs at a dead solid 30fps with no hitches. Uncharted and Ratchet ran flawlessly too for as long as I've played them, Insomniac and Naughty Dog know something for sure. I can't wait for Resistance II.
The small areas wouldn't have been a problem if they left the gameplay elements intact from the first. I think that's where myself and a lot of other PC gamers got pissed off. They took away the skill points, hacking, gave us unified ammo, and screwed up the Augs. All of that is what we didn't like about IW and felt they did it to appeal to the larger console audience and it did them more harm than good.
DE for me is still that benchmark FPS (and RPG hybrid) that I judge every...
Man this game shot up to being one of my most anticipated PSN originals in relatively short time. ThatGameCompany kicked ass with flOw with its deceptively deep hypnotic gameplay, Cloud on PC is pretty awesome as well. I can't wait to see what this one is like. These are the type of games we need to move the industry.
This has nothing to do with either console, it's about THE GAME. Which I agree with both sides, yes AC was a good game with an excellent story. It was also repetitive, hollow, and buggy as hell on BOTH SYSTEMS.
Sony needs to put some marketing muscle behind this to help Epic out for what they're doing on the system. Mods!? Hell yeah that's a first time thing on a console, your 60 bucks is WELL spent with this game considering it has infinite replayability only limited to what other gamers and mod teams can think of.
LMAO dude, you didn't just say it takes far longer to make a AAA for PS3 did you? Seriously that's a new low even for fanboy logic. How long was the 360 out before Halo 3 and Mass Effect came out?
Hah considering the ages of said generations I can see why he said that. The Nintendo generation (myself) are all mid 20s and up. They either joined the military already or decided it wasn't for them (myself again). The next "gaming" generation per se was the Playstation, this shouldn't even be disputed considering their performance the past 2 gens with the PS1's debut. People growing up in that gen should be around the age of joining the military right now, which is what I believe ...
I don't care what platform, just don't screw up Burnout Paradise. It's one of the last few games I even see myself wanting from EA if they keep churning out stupid sports titles. Only sport game I play is StreetFighter!!
Yeah it was still released in Japan and EU on DC, that's how I played it until it came out on Xbox. Sega dropped the ball with this one, I remember them saying the story was supposed to be something of 21 chapters total. The first 2 games were to kick it off and be their own self encompassing chapters then the subsequent chapters would be bundled together. If they could dig this up, Panzer Dragoon, and Jet Set Radio and NOT pull a GoldenAxe/Sonic/Vectorman on them then they'd be good again in...
That really doesn't look cool, it looks like he has mange or something on his head. The designs are all patchy looking and stuff.
Hah I know some of the devs from that MK game, we were out at a store and saw it then they both looked at it and dropped their heads in shame. You know a game is bad when the devs didn't even want to do it. I was like "uh you guys couldn't have just told them that it wasn't a good idea from the start and try to do something else?" and they said the people in charge wouldn't listen.
Puts things in perspective when you say a game is the worst game you've ever played. ..then you look at that list.
Yeah um apparently no one on Fox news bothered to check the ratings on the box with the Parents when they delivered this "HOT NEWS".
I thought the polystation would be on there, or one of those other 999,999,999,999,999 games in 1 systems.
They need to confirm that they're going to stop messing up their franchises as well. Glad to see Condemned 2 and The Club in Feb though.
Totally true man, I still haven't completed 12 and I'm only 40 something hours in. The story SO FAR has been interesting, but not that compelling. The gameplay however is freaking awesome, the world for once feels alive and it's massive. The fact that you can be fighting creatures your own level and then suddenly end up in an area and totally get owned by the stuff there gives it that whole MMO feel. If they follow the gameplay mechanics introduced in 12, expand on them as they seem to have d...
Square needs to make the next online FF in this world.
Did you even read the article about the game? For one this is an original PSN title, take a look at XBLA and see the myriads of BS that are abound on there. Oooh yay I can play Joust in HD!! Seriously man, take a chill pill. The Devs are trying something fresh and new other than "open world clone 17" "fps 297" and "generic RPG with a shoddy story and no character development 29372037", yet you're complaining?
