Even though I've played and owned every GTA leading up to the 3rd, when GTA3 was released it did something that wasn't done before. Actually Driver 2 did it first in 3D to an extent, but it sucked so I guess that's why GTA3 gets the credit for it. I'm a PC gamer as well, I've seen and played countless first person shooters better than Halo years before the first even came out.

Yeah besides it's going to be a global launch anyway, that game is going to sale. I just hope they start the marketing campaigns soon enough to get the word out to the masses that it's coming. I just don't wanna see Solid Snake Trousers or something like that.

Hah@people now saying "it's not a killer app" since it's been stated again it's PS3 exclusive you people (and Adam Sessler) are funny. Tell me again, just why is Halo a killer app? Mass Effect sure, but I can't see why for the former. MGS4 is the real fight to finish, considering the story has been going for 20 years.

Man ZOE2 STILL looks good even with the new systems out. I love that game so much, especially later on the missions get freaking hectic. The faux cel shading, those trippy smoke effects, the energy metatron veins, ZERO SHIFT. Can you imagine how badass ZOE3 will be on PS3? I don't see 360 fan's logic in this. Ok so it's cool that the 360 gets exclusives but not the PS3 because they won't make any money? I remember the install base of the 360 being where the PS3 is right now when Gears came out yet it picked up. Certain people you can't reason with, I've found the "Ignore" feature is working quite well for me.
Most online shooters get betas for the reasons he mentioned. COD4 got the MP beta on 360 to iron things out before the release. The PS3 didn't get one even though judging by what happened at release, they should have as everyone killed IW's servers. That's why we get betas, playing the game for free before everyone else is just extra icing on the cake. Hahaha yeah Enchanted Arms isn't the best RPG I've played, I stopped playing it after like 5 hours. It isn't the worst though so I think like uh next year sometime when I magically don't have anything to play I might continue. It was only 20 bucks brand new so I thought "why not" for a PS3 game.
They already use it in games, Natural Motion licenses animation middleware to game devs. I've used Endorphin extensively and I know they've used it in a few games, Fight Night 3 comes to mind right now when it comes to sports. There's some pretty awesome things you can do with mocap samples in it to make them completely nonlinear.
I was hoping this would hit PSN this year, but it doesn't look like it. In any case I can't wait, it looks funny as hell with the writers on board and I love adventure games.
Hah I don't have NBA and Untold Legends but I have the rest and about 7 PSN titles to boot. Enchanted Arms too if you want to count that (IT WAS CHEAP SO I BOUGHT IT), but yeah no games indeed!! I don't know what I've been playing on my PS3.
But did you even read any of what the game is about, or did you just come to the conclusion that it's "gay" because of the name? They didn't even list everything on the game, just first details and already it sounds pretty damn interesting. Games like this does not detract from the PS3, if anything it'll help Sony because it shows that they're willing to do things not a lot of publishers will do.

I know what you were getting at and why, but seriously it's a console war between fanboys it's not THAT major. The best way for you to "combat" them per se is to not stoop to that level of childish behavior. Do this by utilizing on topic well thought out posts, not resorting to petty insults, recognize that there are good games on more systems than just the one you own, and don't piss on strictly 360 threads with stuff that shouldn't have been there.
