Lol Xbox one is must have now? Evident by its price cuts and free game incentives just to almost sell as must as ps4 in Microsoft's strongest market? Neither console has an extremely strong line up but Microsoft most definitely doesn't have the upper hand with sequels to tired franchises and a collection of recycled games from their only sure cash in aka master cheif collection
I just hope if they do this naughty dog is very careful with it. This game raised the bar so much and it would really be a shame if they tainted that with a sub par sequel. Just please for the love of god do not do it directly where the first one ended. A parallel story or a prequel might work, but the beauty of how the initial story ended would be destroyed if they kept going with it.
Agreed, there's no denying pc's power but the price tag required to flaunt this power is absurd. Not to mention the control scheme and small monitor just kill the gaming experience. (I understand you can use t.v. and Xbox controller but its an extremely inconvenient setup)
EXACTLY. Im really shocked you're the first to point out the obvious. Mario and master cheif are not mascots, they're anchors, or comfort zones. A franchise that the current console can lean on for a bail out. Sony is the only one that hasn't relied on any one or two franchises as a selling point and keeps pumping out new titles in all varieties of genres. These people gloating like this is a good thing crack me up.
Lol almost all of those are system sellers and nearly half of them were goty contenders. Ps3 mopped the floor with 360's lineup it wasn't even a competition

are you high? When has sony EVER been profiled or known to milk fps franchises? That would be Microsoft. And when it comes to, as you say 'copy and paste', no one is more guilty than Nintendo and Mario. Sony is the ONLY company releasing new, quality, diverse exclusives both last gen and this one.

Every response was 'uhm uhm halo and gears, yeah ps3 sucks!' If on a good week X1 outselling ps4 by MAYBE a couple thousand units in Microsoft's strongest market is considered a sales boost then I think the folks over at Sony are pretty comfortable with the way things are going

Sorry but no, pc gaming is crap. The only way its tolerable is to display it on a tv and use a console controller, there is nothing to brag about playing on a screen under 30 inches and using a keyboard and mouse. Not to mention how expensive everything would cost to get this high performance

Sorry but no, mcc is nothing but a double dip with a pretty bow tied around it. There is no doubt that anyone slightly interested in halo already owns nearly everything in that package, sales of the franchise clearly prove that. This will prove to be an amazing treat for ms loyalists who think that throwing out a halo title every couple years is enough to buy their console, but society as a whole sees through the b.s. and now is not supporting it.
Man im drooling just thinking about another motorstorm. Get back to basics and just stick with the simplistic style of the first two. A ps4 version of that with enhanced gameplay and gorgeous graphics like driveclub has would be amazing

So many people busy pointing the finger at the console they don't like. The fact is that in the way of exclusives neither system is mind boggling right now. But idiots on either side saying the other has no games just crack me up. I stick with sony because history has shown they will deliver the goods and Microsoft just never has, unless you prefer online multiplayer.

it would hardly be funny, just sad. If Microsoft bought out the PlayStation brand there would be nothing on the market but halo and call of duty clones with online as the only sales incentive. In other words gaming as we know it would be over.
