I want the nx to be successful speaking as a former nintendo fanboy gone to ps land. I just dont know if they can pull it off. But if anyone can make up lost ground its nintendo. They know they have to bring something amazing, and affordable. If they can do those two things it will be game on!

Im a fan of nintendo first parties just like anyone else, but to tell gamers in the beg they would have third party support and a zelda game was flat out lying to the consumer. Now they have pushed zelda back twice and no metroid game? I would have been totally fine with a remastered metroid prime series.. But no they gave us 2 zelda games no one asked for.. I guess you cant please everyone.

The bottom line the wiiu was underpowered, overpriced, and didnt deliver on the games as much as they could have. The gamepad while a great concept, was ill recieved by many gamers. Only the nintendo loyalist that are ok with the minimalist practices nintendo went for would be ok with the big fat turd the wiiu is/was.

Darkent just sounds like just got a ps4 yesterday... I for one have had mine since day one and will gladly trade it in for the neo. The ONLY thing i will not trade my ps4 in for is a ps5... But ps4.5... Come at me bro.
Also, the rumored specs arent going to give the ps4 neo that much of an edge in graphics over the orig ps4. Most devs prob wont take advantage over the neo until others take the leap of faith. I know 1st parties will do so right out the gate. Esp if it is me...

Thats not the whole story... The ps1 catered to far more gamers and 3rd parties than the 64. So it wouldnt have mattered how powerful the gc was. Which was my fav ninty console next to the super famicon. And the fact nintendo went with those mini discs didnt help anything. Most third parties pretty much thrived on the ps2. And thats where most gamers went. Same with the wiiu. I hope nintendo learns amazing first parties are not enough to be successful.
Nintendo fans should feel betrayed about zelda being postponed till the release of the nx.
From a business standpoint, it makes sense, but if you are going to flat out mislead the customer to thinking zelda would come out holiday 2015 then say holiday 2016 then to say march 2017... We honestly cant take in good faith zelda or the nx will actually come out in march 2017. When has nintendo released a console in the spring? Never thats when.
