Do you guys remember when the 360 didnt come stock with a hdmi port? stating its not needed for gaming and then all of the sudden started eating crow and ultimately realizing they were wrong?? I could see sony ps4p possibly doing the same with a uhd drive but only if there was a public outcry for it. When most of sony consumers could probably care less if they had a 4k drive. Is it a nice added feature for xb1s fans? yes. Is it needed for sony fans? no. Will it be in the ps5? most likely.
