Theres just too much unknown i think is the biggest factor to all this. Pricing and the details will be real important that if even most of what we hear is true. But its like why would sony announce a more powerful ps4 at e3 with a fall launch. That would slow ps4 vanilla sales. Now if its a slim, 4k streaming, bimp in graphics, trade in for older ps4 models, and comming out in less than 3 months.. My head would go kaboom lol

Yeah, if they ever make demon souls 2 its almost a definate they will remaster 1. Im kind of suprised dark souls 1 hasnt gotten a remaster. Arguably the fan favorite in the series. Dark souls 3 was good, i just dont see myself playing through it as many times as i did the first.

No one is forcing you to buy anything. Thats what the author needs to understand. More choice is always a good thing in my opinion unless it screws over the lowest denominator...
The bottom line seems to be that sony have always risked more with new i.p's and such that the sony fan base is more used to these practices, and at ms not so much that when i new ip comes if its not stellar, the xb1 owners do not buy it. Because thats the community at whole at ms skipped on a game.
Yeah, i wont get an xb1 till either it slims down or a game for it is so compelling by gamers and critics alike that i can not ignore it. I was hoping qb was that game but as with everything im not certain about, i waited for the reviews.
On topic, my brother went xb1 this gen and liked it but i never got around to trying it. Seems very split down the middle. Unlike games like the witcher, dark souls 3, and the uncharted series.

I agree. Read my post above yours! i can see how salty i might be if i had just gotten this thing, but i didnt. I preordered the damn thing and got it day one. I was sooo close to spending 900+ $$ on a gaming pc but now ill think i will wait to see what sony does. Im not asking for much. Most the games all ready do 1080p all i want is 60 fps. Id gladly trade in mine and pay a set amount for a quieter, smaller, more capable machine! It cant cost that much extra!
Well, usually when it runs this ramped and sony neither confirms or denies anything... Its most likely true... How true all this is, is all speculation. We know it most likely will be a slimmer, uhd streaming, forward thinking machine (psvr), but to what extent all of this other stuff is true, we will have to wait till e3.

I feel you guys on the fact that games arent that great this gen with new mechanics ect, but dont you think that most of these games are for gamers that havent been gaming like most of us from the nes days. I understand that my fondness for games will never be as epic as they were back in the day. Moving forward i find myself less interested in games as the years pass. Will i get a ps5 and nx?? Most likely, but the fact of my diminishing interest in my hobby is real.

I can easilly see how dark souls 3 runs much better at 60 fps. I hope if this is true its priced smart and gives loyal fans like myself a decent trade in value. E3 needs to hurry the shit up so we can put all this nonsense to rest.
Lol i hope it is true. I honestly dont think it is. But if it comes in a slim with 4k streaming ability and a small bump to make all games 1080p 60 fps id easilly pay 300 with an ability to trade in my og day 1 model 😊
Id rate it a 7.5 personally. Def not the system seller many had hoped or the best game made by this developer. The 78 on metacritic is being far too generous.

Yeah but that was only a year before the ps4 and xb1. If it would have came out a year earlier and been at least as strong as an xb1, we never would have even been talking about an nx yet..
The same could have been said about the ps3 slim orr the ps3 mini. But if we are talking about more then just making a smaller console then thats something completely different.
1. I expect to get a ps4 slim by fall 2016 having the capacity to watch netflix in 4k at the very least.

If they offer a trade in value i dont see the big deal. I got my ps4 on launch day and have def got my $'s worth and then some. You are talking probably 1000's of hours.
