i really think that a collaborative effort would be nice, but really cant see it happening. 2 major companies working together without a clash would not be possible, maybe if one company bought out the other companies games division, but i cant see that happening either
you have a fair point, i noticed that with final fantasy, ps3 fans were touting it left right and centre. Then when it was announced as 360 and all of a sudden the game is meaningless. Now ps3 fans shun 13 and harp on about Vs and how it is the defining game (wait till its announced for 360, then you'll change your mind)
Same thing with DMC, GTA4, Resi 5 its the fanboy mentality
it doesnt matter if the new rockstar game is an exclusive or not, next gen it will go to xbox, MS will make sure of it. They seem to spend most of there time and efforts chasing the PS exclusives while sony seems to spend there time creating them.
the first was quite addictive
I bought Lost and damned, but was hesitant to do so as the games focus was on bikes, and the bikes in GTA4 handled horrendously (the final mission for me was so difficult just because the damned bike handled like crap) I finally caved in and bought it, and the bikes are a tad easier to control, but i think it is putting a lot of people off of buying it (i know 3 people who completed GTA4 and loved it, but wont buy it because of the bikes)
Eeerm I think you will find nintendo own japan this gen so far
ooh, hip hop gemaer with his world exclusive review. Prince of persia, BUY IT, im afraid most of us already have, 7 months ago when the game was released.
third party exclusives just dont make sense
@Chubear
Im pretty sure you mean thousands not millions!
sounds a bit overkill if you ask me, 7000? hope we dont end up with 7fps
does look pretty sweet, liked the first game quite a bit when it first came out
halo 3 ODST for game of the year
until it comes to japanese sales? Then all of a sudden its the most important thing in the world
I can't see dvd's going anywhere in the near future. Anyway, its not the disc format thats the issue, its how you utilise it
case in point

you dont need gold to download the trial game, but you do need it to play on live. Think there may be a free live weekend coming up
Peeps, have you used your 3 free months of live? If you havent create a new gamertag on your xbox, when you sign into live with it you get a free months subscription, you can do this 3 times in total
@ Ghoul
He didnt mention anything about a demo, only that the full games coming to both platforms
so ity looks like its you who is wrong
Damn this game looks fantastic, might see if i can get a ps3 bundle when it comes out
but kung fu panda was a multi platform release, 360, PS3, PS2, DS, PC etc, i fail to see the comparison
hope so
i can't help but think this is a bad move, not by sony but by atari. They are going to miss out on big 360 sales, sort of how 2k missed out on so many bioshock sales by timed exclusiving it to 360. Oh well, its a good move on sony's part, playing MS at there own game. Steps up the competetion a little, which is always good
