I think this gen MS has been trying to diversify and get away from the FPS only image. Trouble is they still haven't found there place, kind of a jack of all trades master of none sort of situation.
soda, you should know by now that only PS3 owners are allowed to mention sales, you should have known better
maybe they can add the jap voices as a free download for 360 owners? didnt ubisoft do that for naruto? or was that something else? That way they could please the purists who prefer original language
looks like part of a cut-scene to me, never played the first game, think i should play it before the new one arrives.
i see your point, my comment was more meant toward 1st party publishers not developers.
wow 6 agrees, 6 more stupid people who don't know what they are talking about, lol
maybe the japanese will bring out a virtual girlfriend game, online poke-her
"its pretty innovative in how it's delivered to consumers"
carrier pigeons, can't think more innovative than that
I think 1st party matters alot, its like what david jaffe said, 1st party devs are there to push the hardware, to really sell it and show what it can do. 3rd party devs and publishers are only really interested in the bottom line, which is why you get the likes of anual fifa's- guitar hero - endless copy cat games all based around the unreal engine.
oh god, i have visions of some sort of wii sports knock-off for there motion controller camera (alleged motion control camera)
MS still have a few first party devs, some staff from the closed studios have been absorbed into MGS, i think they may just have preferred everyone to be under one roof to pool the talent, but then what the hell do i know, maybe they are just stupid?
i think the only way MS will ever be successful in japan is if they bring something original to the market. Take the wii for example, there's no way in hell it would have sold so well without the motion controller, The ds has been able to keep on top of sony's psp (for the most part) because of its innovative interface. The ps2 was successful because of its adoption of DVD before it matured as a format, same goes for the PS3 with blu-ray (albeit maybe not on the same scale, but give it a few ...
microsoft dont know when to give up, they'll keep on pushing till they get what they want, they always have
is that what the mrs calls you nowdays? At least come up with something good if you're gonna have a dig
Honestly do you think iPod was the first mp3 player? You think firefox invented tabbed browsing? Next you will be saying the wiiimote was the first motion controller!
i havent played may ps3 games, but i have played heavenly sword and i really liked it
i thought squeeballs was meant to have 50 minigames? Not interested in this unless it comes woth some solid 3rd party support. I think ARCADE games are well suited to these sort of controls, couldnt imagine trying to play modern warfare 2 with it
lol, i read it as that too for a start
onimusha and breath of fire
The thing is, 360 had one years head start so you should really be comparing PS3's exclusives to last years releases, like how PS3 fans equate PS3 lifetimes sales to last years 360 lifetimes sales
