surely 1080p is overkill? they could get a lot more details in if they stick to 720p, and the difference is neglegable. Look at MGS4, that only renders at 1024x768 and thats ont of the best looking games this gen!
this is the kick up the arse ms games studio's need i think. Hopefully he can pull rare into shape. This man was responsible for some of my favorite games growing up- populous, theme park, dungeon keeper, black and white, and i really enjoyed fable 2 to boot! Just hope this promotion actually means something and is not just an honourary title

forza 3, halo odst and reach aren't multi plats. Neither is joyride or the epic thing they showed. Natal was shown working and isn't 100% yet, maybe they are shooting themselves in the foot and won't be able to get it up to the standard they showed, we'll have to wait and see.

natal isnt the only 360 motion controller coming out, theres the gametrak freedom as well
i imagine that this natal thing could work alongside the controller, imagine a fps where characters are looking straight into your eyes when talking to you, no matter where you sit / move. Or being able to actually lean out of and into cover. the possibilities are there, its just the implementation thats required
its not a minimum of £20 though, it was released at that, but not every single copy sold for that much, after a while the price was reduced. Also it was bundled with the ps3 system for a while along with spider-man 3. Even if every copy did sell at £20 they would not recieve 100% profit, everyone else has to have their slice.
i'm looking forward to both MS's and sony's conferences, hope they deliver. Couldn't care less about nintendo's, might ask my gran what they announce, she seem's to be apart of their target audience

i think that this will benefit you in some small way, i'm pretty sure if you are a sky subscriber you get to watch the on demand repeats etc streamed over the internet at no additional cost on sky.com, which means you very well may be able to stream on demand content at no extra cost to your xbox 360. Just like how netflix subscribers get net-flix streaming at no extra cost (apart from the obligatory LIVE subscription fee's) So you may find you actually come out better off with this deal. Unl...

unreal engine 3 has been great, its starting to show its age a little now though. The competetion is going to to get fierce with the release of the new RAGE engine from ID (ID Tech whatever number its at now) and cryengine 3
wow, what the hell are they thinking? Even if this was a PSP2 with updated hardware and a touchscreen I'd have said it was still expensive. I'm the first person to say that a PS3 is too expensive (not overpriced, just too much for me to afford right now) but this is damned ridiculous.
