to all those who say multiple discs are bad, and that if you lose a disc you are screwed. If you were to lose 1 disc you'd lose 50% of the game, if the game only came on 1 disc and you lost that 1 disc you'd lose 100% of the game. My advice would be to take better care of your stuff!
you must be one a hardcore gamer, playing non stop without interuption, what do you do when you need a piss? or to sleep? or eat? do you fight through it so you dont 'ruin the experience'? what if your girlfriend needs a good seeing to?

brill, now i have no reason not to get a ps3 this year. PS3 finally gets competitive against the 360 and wii, wonder what ms will do now to stay out front? its never been a better time to be a gamer
I just hope it comes at under 200 pounds (299 dollars = 180 pounds, but i cant see it being that reasonably priced!)
i kinda hope not, a lack of real competition led to a lot of lacklustre unreal engine 3 games that all looked the same, i hope that with updated unreal engine 3, this engine and id tech 5 (also isnt sony liscencing killzone 2 engine as well?) we will see some damned fantastic looking games coming out as each company trys to trump each other.
cant wait to see what they come up with, peters games have always had a special place in this gamers heart. Have fond memories of late nights playing dungeon keeper, theme park and black and white. Also really liked fable 2

i cant see myself coming home to 'pretend' to play a guitar, or pretend to sing but the guitar hero and rock band games a massively popular. I also cant imagine myself coming home to use wii fit, yet that sells like hotcakes
you're probably right about there being more 360's in japan than ps3's, the trouble is they are on store shelves and not in living rooms

im put off by the size of the current ps3, (i'd still get one if the price was right for me, its not that much of a bother) but id be a lot more enclined to get one if they released a slim version
if that was the case then the wii would be raking in more, but it isnt
kind of getting a bit sick of sony showing the same stuff over and over, gow3 unchartered 2 mag and gt5 look great, but id like to see something new. Hopefully they will show something new from their european studios, maybe something from evolution or studio liverpool (is that what its called now?) A trailer for AGENT would be sweet, even if its just a target render for now (not fond of them but would love to see the style they've gone with for this)
i remember when gt3, gta3 and mgs2 hit on ps2, those 3 games alone sold sony a hell of a lot of consoles back in the day
modern warfare 2 will sell the most units as its multi-plat, halo odst will sell he most on 360, modern warfare 2 will sell the most on ps3 (unless gt5 gets released), PC will be modern warfare 2 as well
why wouldnt they? an install base of well over 50 million gamers (dont think many people bought there psp's just to watch UMD's)
