fall of reach is a fantastic read, even if you are not bothered about the games, it stands on its own
its funny, i used to see XBOX ads all the time, and barley any sony ads. now i only ever see sony ads and barely and 360 ones. Nintendo pretty much blanket advertise over here in the uk, every time you switch over theres a ds or wii add
the screen tearing on nearly all capcoms games are really bad when set on any resolution other than 720p, it must be something to do with the engine they use and the scaler. I noticed it with dead rising and resi 5, it was nearly unplayable until i switched to 720p, then it went away nearly completely
its not as if they are shouting from the rooftops, its a situations vacant ad

having skipped last generation, briefly playing the odd game on my brothers ps2 and xbox, ive missed out on some fantastic games. I would love to play the ratchet series, metal gear solids 2-4, ico jak and daxter. I was going to get a backwards compatible ps3, but if they bring out remastered collections on one BD for a sensible price, well, i'll be in my element! (as long as they come on disc not download)
they could even just use the PC assets, as they are higher quality than the original console versions
why do multi-plat games not count? are we not allowed to buy them???
its not set that far before the halo trilogy, didnt the pillar of autumn go into slip-space following the fall of reach, and end up at the halo? pretty sure they follow straight on from each other
dirt 2 blows the forza 3 demo away graphically, it sucks when the best looking games on a system are 3rd party multi-plats
Forza 3 will still rock, even tho it doesnt have the best graphics, the gameplay is where its at
dirt 2 was a great game, but it has strayed way too far from what i used to love about the colin mcrae series

@ saaking, like sony is milking rachet and clank? like konami is milking metal gear? like nintendo are milking mario? Square with final fantasy? dragon quest? If the demand for more HALO is there, why wouldnt they release games? And the demand is obviously there. Its not as if its the same re-hashed game, halo wars is totally different genre, and ODST plays differently. Dunno bout reach
Not really, apparently the new valhalla chipset or whatever its called utilizes a combined cpu/gpu die, which would mean only one heatsink required and the gpu would no longer bake under the dvd drive
All these bundles MS are suddenly bringing to market could be a way of clearing the old models
it would make more sense for MS to aquire SEGA, if they were going to. The sega name could help them alot in Japan, and sega own alot of IP's which could make good NATAL based games, as that motion controller would only really be suitable for arcade type games
I'm thinking of picking up a PS2 slim, as i skipped out last gen. Need to catch uip on a few games that i missed, PS3 backwards compatibility would be fantastic, i really want to play jak and daxter series, ratchet and clank series, ico, shadow of the collosuss and a few other gems i missed out on. If i could play the upscaled i'd rather just get a PS3

i like to play games, as long as the gameplays there i couldnt care less about HD audio or 1080p cutscenes or whatever
wow, it amazes me how someone can care so much about something that doesnt affect them. I am going to buy this game, ill install both discs to my hard drive. Yes people who own an arcade are getting shafted, but i couldnt give a rats ass as it doesnt affect me playing the game at all. It makes me laugh how people get so wound up when they dont even have an xbox Its like me being p*ssed off at the price of petrol when i dont even have a car
