I think they were going to put iplayer on there, but it seems like its not going to happen now. my guess is that MS wanted it to be exclusive to gold members only, but the BBC refused as they wouldnt want people to pay extra to use it. bet thats why they went with the PS3 instead. would be better to get an IP-TV freeview streaming service, like tvcatchup.com, that would be pretty cool
yes netflix would be amazing, but no doubt if it ever did make it to these shores, we'll be charged twice as much for less as per usual
sky is rediculously overpriced for what you get, a hand full of channels and a few on demand movies for about £35 per month. Not even in HD
why would it be PS3 bashing? it would not be sony's fault, it would be EA's as they run there own online servers which run independatly of sony, just like EA's online games dont use LIVE's servers

i'd imagine they would make it scalable, like what turn 10 did with forza 3, you have the option to play with assists, but you have the option not to. good for everybody that way. Personally i prefer a hard game, but then i have the patience to master it, alot of people dont play games if they arent good at them straight away
doesnt sound like a very good idea to me, alot of people sdont like PC gaming for that exact reason
sonys only just starting to gather momentum with the ps3, they are in it for the long haul. MS are starting to struggle a little. they are slipping up, and if natal turns out to be a bomb, they may not have anything to back themselves up with

having played both i can say that forza is much better than shift as a whole, the graphics are nicer, the game plays soooo much better, the handling etc
shift is good for a need for speed game, but thats not really saying much
i thought that gta4 was excellent, it deserved a lot of its prsise. the only thing holding it back for me was the cars handling, took a long while to get used to
