the wii is £179.99, and thats before an alleged price drop, how is this bundle the same price?
Its the same price as a 120gb PS3 slim over here in the UK, so this is really competetively priced, although you can find a few places bundling in some games for £249.99 with the slim
Things are looking interesting, wonder how things will pan out for the 2 companies, and if nintendos price drop will have any effect.

i used to have a ps3, got it free on mobile contract. I liked it, tho at the time is was quite expensive so i sold it on ebay while i could get a fair bit for it. I played a few games and liked it, i'm definately going to pick one up when i get a bit of spare cash
If i was just coming into this gen, having never played either console, i would definately go for the PS3, and thats coming from a big 360 lover. The free online is going to swing it for a lot of people.

that example was rendered on 14 qs21 blade servers, they cost about $10,000 each. Also they were using an infra red camera not the ps eye
still might be good if they can pull it off on ps3 (can imagine leaning out of cover in uncharted 2, would be quite cool!)

ill reserve final judgement when the game hits, and i get to play it, but as it stands - from what i've seen of it, i'd rather they didnt bother at all with damage. It just seems like its been tacked on at the last minute. But for all i know they have a newer build set to blow every one away at TGS

I think sony are cashing in on people starting there christmas shopping early, and it seemed to pay off fantastically for them

The slim was announced 2 weeks ago, my wreckoning is people held off for the slim, which meant low sales the week prior, then when the slim hit, everybody jumped in and the numbers went up
Regardless of how many actual units were sold, its good news for sony UK. I actually saw an advert for PS3 the other day, infact i saw it a couple of times

im more stoked for this game than anything else at the minute. MS really need to step up there game, i love my XBOX, but man, i'd sell my left nut to play this game
