It looks like yet another boring, generic, apocalyptic survivor game to me.
This game doesn't have a tenth of the artistic talent that went into Elden Ring. The environments in that game absolutely embarrass the drab environments in Forspoken. Honestly if you play Elden Ring with friends using the Seamless Coop mod it is not even that hard. There are a number of mods that simply make the game easier as well if you prefer to play alone. Forspoken is nothing like Elden Ring.
I just miss the days of Prime actually offering fast shipping...you know...the real reason most of us signed up for it. Not even really sure why I still have it at this point.
Is it though? 128 players was a mistake. I said it before launch and it is still true now.
Being a new studio does not excuse releasing a game in a broken state. The issues are clearly bad enough that there is no way they were not aware that the game had issues when they released it.
Ubisoft has been missing the mark with pretty much everything they release for years. I doubt this will be any different.
Oh no...Ubisoft just made 10s of people really sad.
That's a shame because it's time.
"By design" ...Well 343 your design sucks.
I mean...the games coming out so far in 2022 are pretty lackluster, so that is why I am not spending as much.
I agree...playing as the ship and not as a person on the ship is a snooze festival.
No, ALL last gen consoles do not. Sure they beefed up the GPU in the Pro models, but the CPU is still trash across the board. It is time to let them go.
I think more competitive gamers will be able to tell a difference for sure. Casual gamers...they don't pay attention to that stuff lets be real. The video is not going to show the difference because it is only 60 FPS. Also you need a TV that can do native 120 Hz, so only people with newer high end TVs will notice a difference. I would say a large number of TVs in homes today do not currently have 120 Hz or VRR support.
The game is fundamentally flawed. 128 Players was a terrible idea. At this point they need to learn some major lessons and move on to the next one. This one is flatlined.
Same...I actually like the Game Pass model. It lets me try whatever game I want and a lot of games I otherwise would not have tried. It also gets rid of that buyers remorse of getting a game you do not enjoy. Uninstall and move to the next. I also kind of feel like Game Pass punishes games for not delivering and forces them to actually try and keep you playing it since I would assume their payment is based on how much you actually play their game. This would particularly hurt those overhyped ...
I have yet to see anything about this game that would put it even close to a 9...
Dice is a lost cause at this point. It is time to let a better Dev studio take over the Battlefield franchise IMO.
I don't think Stadia will ever succeed for the simple fact that people don't trust Google not to drop it along with their entire game library at a moments notice. As we all know Google loves to just shut down services they deem underperforming at a moments notice.
They have actually completed a lot of the critical tech that they need to make the game what they want it to be. One of the most important ones remaining is server meshing, which is slated for Q3-Q4 of next year. The game is still years away from "completion", but you can play the game now. It is a buggy experience, but jeez even released games are buggy these days, so it is what it is. They recently added medical gameplay and are working on Salvaging (LOL this gameplay loop is fore...
Agreed...It looked painfully generic.
