Yeah, Xenoblade 2 and 3 are amazing. I would have put Xenoblade 2 in first and 3 in second if I was ranking them.
What's wrong with gaming nowadays is "AAA" devs are churning out garbage.
Even at its worst, Star Citizen is already better than the overwhelming majority of games at their best. That goes especially for the steaming pile of shit the AAA devs are turning out these days. It's ironic that people will call this game a grift and then turn around and buy the latest Call of Duty clone.
Well said...Star Citizen is very playable now and absolutely DECIMATES any other space sim on the market today. I find it ironic when people jump from one hollow cookie cutter Early Access game to the next and then turn around and criticize Star Citizen that is actually doing something unique. Have they made mistakes along the way? Absolutely they have...but the end result ended in a product that is unlikely to be matched any time soon.
Yeah, it is looking like Nintendo is going to be the only console left standing after the dust settles. Xbox/Playstation are both inching towards just doing game development and shying away from the console race. I think Playstation will hold out a bit longer, but I would be surprised if Xbox continues after maybe one more generation of console.
Me: There's no way EA could get any worse.
EA: Hold my beer!
Even though I am not into side scrollers I can respect it. The best thing happening to the gaming industry is the rise of Indie devs and the downfall of scummy "AAA" devs turning out the same recycled trash for over a decade.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure is $10 off...yeah...you look real silly now with your $5 comment don't yah. :p lol
The issue isn't that there is not interest in handheld devices. The issue is the Switch does it cheaper, lighter, and allows it to double as a TV connected console.
The Switch 2 especially shows there is a great interest in handheld devices. The problem is that the Switch 2 is just doing it at a reasonable price and with added bonus of doubling as a TV console as well. I think the Xbox Ally will fail not because of lack of interest, but because it is overpriced, too bu...
Star Citizen has many flaws, but at the end of the day....They are not raking in the kind of money they are without delivering a product that people very clearly want. To call it a scam is pretty disingenuous. Overambitious...absolutely. The thing with Star Citizen is instead of iterating on their product they basically just said we're going for the end product and nothing in between will suffice. They are building a game that most games would iterate MANY times to get to the kind of prod...
Maybe Arkane should focus more on the game development after they released that last steaming pile they called a video game.
As much as gamers love to argue with each other, the one thing we can all come together and agree on is that Ubisoft of today sucks.
What MS doesn't realize (or maybe they do) is they just killed Xbox. They are going to get basically no real talent willing to work for them because who wants to work for a company that goes on frequent layoff sprees? Xbox is done. This is a reputation that will probably stick with them until they inevitably shut it down entirely. Time to replace Phil Spencer. He clearly is running it into the ground.
"We are heartbroken that not every player was able to experience the game as we intended. "
Yeah...you absolutely knew it was this way, but you released it anyway. Save us the pandering.
"Made their own" ....sure they did. I guess they should have let the emulator coders go a bit longer before they shut it down and more of their games might have worked lol.
This article is a bit disingenuous in that it fails to mention that the LA studio was just a skeleton crew and the development has already been moved to the multitude of other studios.
@Abriael You're trying to argue with a bunch of talking parrots that know nothing about the game. It's futile lol.
@cthulhucultist You can play SC for $45. Less than a AAA game. The product they have out now is easily worth $45.
The game already has a ton of features now. When you have games like Concord churning out after 8 years and hundreds of millions of dollars it makes what SC has accomplished not look as bad as people make it out to be. I personally already play it now, so it isn't any more "not coming out" than any of the other early access games out there selling unfinished games. This one just is far more successful than the others and its because what they are creating is something far beyond...
After watching that trailer...the chances of it flopping are pretty high. That trailer did not look good. Disappointing because I actually enjoy the Horizon series, but Hunters Gathering looks like it will miss the mark.
