Sony invest more than just money in studios. They invest time in making polished experiences that ain't centered around milking the consumer.
No passion for games just a passion for milking.
You know when companies use celebrities to market their games that generally they are going to be bad. Looking at Crackdown 3.
But ain't mobile graphics supposed to be on par with consoles by now, Sarcasm!
Beast pistol.
I agree but think of what Sony will do with that power.
Get your head out your ass, do you know how many top games have been released on Plus for PS3, on top of that it is a very limited system now in terms of people using it compared to PS4.
Business decision or not anyone who has had PS+ for PS3 has easily got their moneys worth.
In London everybody out of my family or friends who own an Xbox are kids that own one of them games (or more) and COD. That is it. I am talking from experience and what i read in the news. All Xbox's new IP's this gen have flopped despite some of them being descent or good quality titles, Why is that i wonder? read the original post.
The problem with MS is their fan base don't care about exclusives most of them are either kids or people who play Halo, Forza, Gears and third party games that their mates are on. A lot of their new 1st party IP's didn't do well which proves this.
For them to make a AAA budget new IP becomes risky now, but in order to attract over some PS fans it needs to be done. Unfortunately they don't care so it is very unlikely we will see this happen.
The game will definitely be out of the original comfort zone. I believe zelda and Mario have proved changing the formula reaps positive feedback.
Imo this is long overdue, with pokemon go so popular they will attract alot of old and new with a more mature game.
@madpuppy hopefully MS backward compatibility will make Sony allow the ps5 to play all ps4 games.
It's a good feature early in a gen with less games or if your Ms and rely heavily on third party.
Microsoft suck end of. They don't care about games only easy money.
This game has been a stealth bomber and now it's on my radar. Looks sick!
@emporer you are completely right and so do poor executed games. For example I didn't buy swbf2 purely out of my dislike to the model so technically they have lowered (or divided) the community even more so.
If they opted for xp boosts and cosmetics which let's face it who wouldn't wanna run around as a bright watever storm trooper, I am sure they would see revenue whilst keeping the free dlc.
EA have screwed a lot up recently.
No it is not as it effects the core game play and progression. A season pass or MT's has to be done right and not increase your hours from a few hundred to a few thousand. SW BF2 should have been FTP with the model they opted for, simple.
It's not just that it has 2 maps and riddled with Mt's despite being paid. On top of that there is no single player aspect.
Leave the comparisons to digital foundry.
To review games they must be played in their entirety. Overwatch is online focused so should be treated as such.
Is it just me that thought the original fable was the best one.
