A portable only version and switch Pro would be nice. Still useless without proper online but hope that comes.

Competition can come from the switch, honestly what competition is Microsoft fearing other the BC and game pass?
The only competition that is healthy is great games which the switch (nintendo) have already proved can do so Xbox haven't really caused Sony to do much TBH, Sony have been doing what the have done since the ps1 era make great games, only difference is this gen the ps4 and Pro has been at an afro dabble price from the get go.
A generic third party box will not compete with first party power houses. The only thing X has going for it is the slightly improved performance for increased price.
Microsoft are just leaching off the community for the last 6+ years, albeit forza has shown quality but Imo don't Warren spending 300-550 quid if you have an average PC or laptop.
