This is the only way I can see why someone would hate a system they don't even have. I, however, can justify that I, truely, hate the Wii because, I have one and it's complete crap, even super mario galaxy is complete crap. a ps3 and was smart enough to pickup a HD-DVD player when it was $99 bucks. This war really means squat. I have both formats, if I want to watch transformers, boom, I have the ability to, if I want to watch Spiderman 3, same deal, I have it right in front of me. Just like owning a 360 and PS3, if I want to play Halo 3, boom, it's there, if I want to play anything PS3 exclusive, it's there. So what if I lose money in going with both formats, it's not like I have to take a second mortgage. ...
Even though my PC is a butt load more in cost wise, both my xbox360 and PS3 can't touch it. I still love my 360 and PS3 though. My Wii... that's another story.
When you live in a third world country and or choose to not have nothing going for you in this life then perhaps, the world of video games gives you enough satisfaction to actually do stupid crap like this. Who knows, I surely can't understand the need for all this... but then, like you and I, we put our lives before video games and therefore can afford to buy and play games. We would then have no need to resort to these extreme measures to get our game on. Just my thought.

If they are going to make a blaster, I'm sure they'll put out more games that use it. Even if it is just for this game, $50 dollars is pocket change anyway, you make it sound like you live off of a allowance or something.

MMO's do not appeal to me either. My brother is hooked on WoW like nobody's buisness. I watch him play and I just don't get why you must spend months just to level up once. It takes way, way to much time out of my real life to be even close to worth it. If my brother spends the time he does in WoW to better himself in real life, he would probably be a millionaire my now.

Seriously, even for Blu-ray guys, this is irresistable. Greedy @ss sony. Serves them right. From what it seems, HD-DVD will go fighting all the way to the end... just the way I like it, make sony squeal and drop the price on their overpriced Blu-Ray players.
