I like these games and I like the action Rpgs, but why flame someone for having thier own tastes. This game is a definate buy for me. I just can't see people trying to tell other people what to like. Ok, new rule if you want someone to like your type of game you buy it for them!!!! MAN LAW!!!
Both games are PlayStation 3 exclusives at this point, but the company indicated they're in discussions with Microsoft to bring the game to their platform as well. Koei devs drove home the point multiple times that they're looking to appeal to Western tastes, so don't be surprised when the 360 announcement hits.
And only the 20 gig system. Who knows how many 20 gig systems they will sell in Japan at launch. This may just be a publicity stunt to get good press. And like the 360 who buys the core if they can help it?
How are your average gamers going to program new levels or maps for the games on it? We are talking about people having to learn threading for the PS3
HDMI is great if you have a 1080p HDTV. You know what even if you don't it is nice that they realized that it was a mistake not to include the cable. THe point here though is there is a price drop for Japan only. Why should PEOPLE in other countries PAY MORE???? Are the systems going to the americas or europe better than the japanese one? NO! So they should drop the price for everyone!!!!!!!
What about those that Buy a PS3 without having a HDTV ? What good is Blu-Ray without the TV to watch it on. Remember people buy this system for the games first.
They compare it to Call of Duty 2 at the end of the video because it doesn't compare to gears of war. I am really starting to think that you need a 360 to see how good the games really are. These video downloads just don't compare to widescreen 720p demos. Hopefully it will be a system seller for Sony. The only thing is Halo is great because MS built a network for it. You have to grind out the last part of the game.
They should just push back the launch. Only 500,000 units at launch? 100,000 for Japan and 400,000 for US what is that? Damn people are going to get hurt walking home with thier unit. Pre order that is now pre wait til 6 months down the road. This is horrible news for those PS3 fans.

Sony is an electronics manufactuer. They are used to doing things like this. They can make 10 million if they wanted to in 2 days. Come on SONY is all knowing and powerful how could they be wrong.

This game is not final fantasy 3. Great gameplay!!! It is a JRPG and it is fun for those of us that like these games. It also shows that the 360 has a wider range of game. Bring on the JRPGs and the western ones the shooters the sandboxs the fighters bring them all to the 360 give us choices.
The Graphics will be the same but you can't say that the 360 is running DX10.
