Sony and MS are talking sensible right now. None of that overstated crap form the past. I hope this continues. Maybe if the companies didn't war so openly the fanboyism would die down some.

Developers need the widest install base possible. It just costs too much these days to make a game $12 - $24 million for either platform. So of course good business is to maximize your audience to maximize your profit. Only caveat is that this game will not shine on either system. That is left to system exclusives. I am sure Lair will blow this away. IMO.
The AI in this game learns how you drive so it gets better, forcing you to get better. It will have a car that you are drafting hit the breaks to mess you up then take off. They have a professional F1 driver there telling them how the tracks and cars should handle. This games physics are going to be so tight. And yes I will by the force wheel just to play this game.

Fund the schools right so a free eduacation is available through college and then see what kind of students you get. Afterschool programs, summer jobs you know things to teach people skills and be part of the workforce. Moaning never solve anything.
When the price drops to under $200. Mass sales just aren't out there for most people. I brought my 360 on launch day haven't had one problem. But I make Good money and can afford it. What about the college students or the single parent households. I mean one of my friends could not afford to buy a wii for her kids. Keep your judgements about american work ethics to yourself. And a damn videogame machine just doesn't mean the same thing when people have families to feed. And no matter where you are from $600 is a lot for a toy. So before you talk your fanboyisms let the price come down then see where the PS3 stands as a platform. We are still in the early adopter phase for all 3 consoles. Nothing will be determined until the price drops start.
So no bashing, that price is too high. As a company they need to cut their loses on the hardware. It is just too expensive to lose $200+ per unit sold. Doesn't make good business. So this is good news for SONY fans.
If you have no intention of ever buying a 360 then the PS3 version looks damn good. Just not as good as the 360's version. At this point though let's stop crapping on the systems and start playing more. Man you guys need to play some crackdown. I have been playing it the last 2 days and I love it. It is about sony lying to their fans. Almost everyone on this site was a sony fan at one point. Their arrogance just drove some people away and made them haters. Scale back on the shipments of 360's, so that retailers can sell all their instock units. Then they can release the updated black 360's. A lot easier to sell 2 million units than 5 million. So I am thinking a sku change about the same time that halo beta releases.

I mean I have all the acheivements. Beat every story line so why should I care if it looks better on the PS3 after a year of development. They can have it I am done with it. And that brings up the point Bethesda had to make it look better to get PS3 owners to buy it. I mean who plays a year old action rpg that isn't online. PS3 owners enjoy the game and move on like us 360 owners did.
For all this security scare nothing can be made safe. Just live with the fact nothing is unbreakable. Also there is still another level of security when the HDMI becomes standard

I think they've definitely taken some concepts that we originated like achievements, but I think they're pushing in a different direction and we've sort of fundamentally got two different approaches going on here. I think theres is very much a vision that people see it and it looks cool but it's fundamentally separate from the games - or at least what they've shown so far.
