360 is selling more systems world wide than PS3. Halo3 hasn't released yet. GTA4 is a multiplatform game. And other than Mario those have beeen the biggest sellers the last few years. How is MGS4 and FF13 going to propel the PS3 by 7 million systems and then some. You do know there are seven million more units sold than the PS3. Not hating on system just wondering at the blind love. Just because you love the PS# doesn't mean everyone else holds it in the same regard.
Maybe wait for a price drop and some games. Other than that don't worry. It would cost Sony way to much for PS3 to fail. It would drag the company down.It would be such a monumental loss. They will not let that happen so get your system when you ready and enjoy yourself

The ps3 doesn't have enough RAM to do Gears of War. That was stated from the beginning. That is why the 360 has twice as much RAM. Epic wanted the extra RAM, so MS gave it to them. It cost MS an extra Billion to put this RAM in for this one game. So how in the world could anyone believe that rumor. You would never let go of a property that had such an impact on your systems design.

But what happens when Halo 3, Heavenly Sword, GTA4 come out. It will go back to PS3/360 war those are the hardcore games. And GTA was the driver for the huge PS2 install base. I know the Wii is selling like crazy now but price drops from the other two systems will hurt that.

Nothing like Star Wars. Humans aren't really liked at all. And the weaponry is more in style with more advanced weapons that we have today. Everyone has a personal kinetic shield at least the marines do. The story line goes far away from star wars. Less pie in the sky more grungy. And the Good aliens aren't all the good. And a specter can kill innocent people to accomplish his ends no questions asked.
And there are 2 sequels also MS published. I am sure it will come to the PC later. MS needs these games to push Vista. So maybe a year later on the PC.

in advertising to push through all the Halo3 hype. It isn't worth it to fight a battle that is already lost. Only game that can compete with Halo for sales is that pokeman game on the DS. Now that sold like a million in a couple of days. And still Halo will out sell that. Let the steam blow over and bring out the game for christmas easier to get noticed then
but most likely next year or in response to a MS price cut. I just don't think it is good business to cut the price this fall. The cost of production is to high. And honestly people that wanted one last Christmas and didn't get one will this Christmas. Sony will take the attitude of riding out one more holiday season before a price cut.
