What is with all the hate going on here. especially from those that don't have a 360 or a PS3? That is trifling. Anyway I am looking forward to both 2.40 and the 3d dashboard. Good times for those that own both systems.
I download at 17,142 kbps and my ps3 downloads like a charm, so i am ready.
Everybody wants what they want now. Activision knew what they were getting into when they decided to become a developer. Do you hear Capcom complaining, or Konami or Epic. Activision needs to make better games. Consistently better games if they want to make a bigger profit. Corporations need to stop with the bulls#@% belief that all the games they make are great. Video games are simple make a game with good game play mechanics and good graphics and people will buy it make crap and people won'...
of Rpg's, action and dungeon crawlers. Silicon Knights said it was a genre of it's own. When did Dennis Dyack ever say it was and RPG? The game that it was compared most with is Diablo.
That why I never brought a ps2 and just waited for the PS3
you want the 360 to stay at $359 until the PS3 catches up then lower their price along with the PS3. What kind of business practice would that be. Any company operating like that would out of business in two days.
There is a thing called price elasticity. Which means people are willing to buy something at a certain price, but not all the people will at that price. And the lower the price gets the more people are willing to buy the product. MS has sold approximately 20 million units at the $329 - $479 price range over the last 2 1/2 years. they have just simply reached the limit of the audience they can reach at that price. While PS3 still has people willing to buy one at $400, that will slow down as mo...
people loved the game and that 100 dollar store card so the system was selling like crazy the last week
Developers are saying Konami had a built in fan base. And that they had money to invest in traveling the world, hiring great voice actors and having great sound effects. They had four people to work on the rumble alone. There is no way other developers can invest that kind of time and effort into a game. Sony would have to under write any game of that size. Face it games will will be multiplatform from here out because they cost to much. the only exclusives will be first and second party game...
comes the same problems as windows. The more Macs sold the more viruses hackers will make. Just the way it is
Are they going to do? Duh ! MGS4 is a stellar title for the PS3 and the NPD figures just came out. It is just their usual spin. Next you will see Sony say the GTA4 sold better percentage wise on PS3 and we are on the same PR merry go round again.
And great answer to why 360. He was a very forthright developer.
This is all subjective and we buy into these public relations pieces. It is just about selling consoles now. Most games are multi platform and play the same on both. The pissing contest was fun for a while but now it is time to just play games on whatever system you like even the Wii.
There are more 360's in North America. Square-Enix wants to get deeper into the western market. Make it exclusive for a system that has almost 3 times the installed base In North America. Give the other system time to grow a larger base in North America, then release it. This not about Japan, this about getting the highest sell through rate for your game.
Lawyers who make up these contracts wouldn't leave such an obvious lop hole. Especially, since take two wants to push it back just to make their financial statement look better. They came out and said that the content is on schedule they just want their books to look better and in January the income would make them look more profitable.
The publisher has delayed the DLC from fiscal Q4 2008 (August-October) to Q1 2009 (November-January) "in order to provide a better balance i...
He tried to tell jokes and wasn't funny, so rock band people need to not play real guitars he needs to stop getting wasted and trying to tell jokes.
He is just soo damn EMO
The developers point of veiw
"Remember Sony claiming that most developers are creating the PS3 version first? That is not because PS3 is more popular, or easier to code, it is purely because from a technical point PS3 is harder to create good code for. Once you’ve created a good code base for PS3, it is easy to turn that into a well running 360 version."
Developers do not owe loyalty to any console maker. They are in business to make money. And of course th...
directly you would also have to pay tax. The points are to avoid that and to provide a standard cost across all nations. But hey if you want to pay taxes who am i to say no.
why didn't the reviewers play the whole game before spouting their mouths off. If they are that good that they can review games. They should have been able to beat the game in about 30 hours and give a complete review. Don't blame Take Two for their failings as journalists.
