It is the price. PS3 is selling because the people that brought the 360 are now buying PS3 also and some diehards were waiting for MGS4. In other words Sony is still selling to the harcore while MS has almost exhausted their market of the hardcore, hence their focus on casual games to increase their target market.

I know the Wii is very popular. But it is selling to casual gamers not hardcore gamers. do casual gamers know that consoles change every 4- 6 years. And will the hardcore Nintendo fans still be around to to buy their next system at launch price or to even start the word of mouth about the system. Casual means that the people that are buying the wii are doing so for quick and easy play does that translate into a Nintendo legacy or a one generational fad?
MS Sony and Nintendo all want to control your home entertainment not just your video games each wants to be the only system in your house. F that bull buy them all and chose your entertainment a la carte. Being a fan boy can be fun at times, but in the end all of you are consumers and you have to check out all your options before spending your money. Saw a 360 controller in the flashback with psycho mantis when i played the game. Don't know why it was there but it read rumble is back and flashed a 360 controller. Now all that said, MGS4 should stay on the PS3 the experience has come and gone. It was fine ,but lets leave it where it is and move on to other games.

on MS and Sony both rumored to have motion controllers in development. Nintendo not worry my #%$. Price can always be cut but value cannot be added to the wii without those wacky peripherals
EA was the main reason ps2 was so dominate last generation. There was no Madden on the dreamcast and that killed it. By the time the xbox and gamecube launched it was 18 months after the PS2 and Sony dropped the price about 3 months after they launched. So it added up to a cheaper console with more games. That was their winning recipe. Not saying the ps2 wounldn't have won but there was some smart business dealings that helped it out.
