the benchmark phone had neither so who noes if...
i wouldnt let that benchmark vid influence what this device can do, who noes if that was even final hardware/software
why wouldnt they put the best tech in this? price is usually the answer, this is a phone that can play games, its not trying to be the PSP2, you could have said the same thing about the GO and i would have given a similar answer
hardware wise, we are not 100% what this is running so who noes...

and yeah, with all the branding on and modified OS (from todays article) it looks like this is the final version so hopefully its coming real soon and hopefully SE will shed some more info at CES
im hoping the benchmark for the final version is superior to the one on engadget a while back

and why do people keep bringing up the ngage? nokia had no experience with games, they have no gaming studios, the ngage used a crappy OS, the Ngage was designed poorly, the ngage has crappy software and hardware, the ngage had a tiny screen on both versions......i could go on and on

the android fanboys alone wil make this a hit, nevermind the sony loyalist and then the people who just want to play games on their phone with hardware buttons

i have no proof but looking at how thick this device is, im gonna say it has a rather substantial battery, most good batteries range from 1250 mAh to 1500, i believe this phone will have 1700 to 2000 simply because of the point you listed
if they end up using a standard battery i would be bitterly disappointed
MS attention is just on kinect right now and since its seems to be a success i dont see them changing that anytime soon
if thats the case then sony ericcson looks like the first manufacturer to do this

whether the naysayers like it or not, gaming on a cell phone is huge right now and for sony to pass on it simply because some just want a PSP2 would be a foolish move, its not like were not getting both devices anyway so WTF?

i see no reason why you cant do that all on one device, assuming the battery life can cope
minis are better then the majority of the "phone shovelware garbage" so assuming the PSPhone gets access to them, that will be fine for me
why you want the PSPhone to fail is beyond me, you do realize it is still a sony device right? if you want it to fail thats sonys money wasted

sony would do good to jump on that bandwagon while they can, the PSPhone as well as PSP2 could integrate a app service, what is really important is what OS/security is used
