i was just taking issues with gilga comment about the phone being casual, like i said, sony didnt say this themselves and just by using logic and what they are doing right now, sony are staying true to the core gamer

the worst part is the iphone and ipod touch are practically the same device minus phone fuctions, however the PSPhone and PSP2 will be fairly different, dirrent OS, different games (probably), different design, etc

this wouldnt work, it would mean no one can trade in a PS3 game
also, what about people who own old PS3's but dont have internet or a monthly data allowence or slow spee...
as far as i know, the PSN has not been hacked, you can get some
psn games from torrent sites etc but all that content on PSN is not

truth is, hacking the PS3 this late in its life cycle is a blessing...well not quite but it could have been far worse
everything gets hacked eventually, sony should be great full it took hackers this long

what makes you think they tried to do this? comparing both devices gaming line up suggests that wasnt there intention to begin with
as for your media comment i think it would be foolish to focus 100% on gaming when music, vids, apps etc could be incorporated easily without compromising gaming performance

sony sold something like 62 million psp's, are you saying that shouldnt have bothered?
just selling half of what the DS has done (which is pretty much what the psp has done) is still alot of money coming in
in the UK, health care and education is paid for by the government AKA tax payers, TV is not free, we have to pay a TV license
