I honestly was going to buy this digital but after learning about the loot box progression system I'm out. So sad too, I was looking forward to this with all the dlcs being free!
Ok IMO, so I've played both and I like Fortnite a lot more. Its more refine and polished where as PU is more slow and boring at times.
You still get the clutch Adrenalin rush in both games, but Fortnite plays better and is less clunky.
The only downside with Fortnite right now is that there is no progression, the only objective is to be the sole survivor, it needs some type of progression system to keep people hooked.
Being a massive playstation fan, I'd grab an Xbox X if it had more enticing games and exclusives. And to be honest the price isn't the problem for me and a lot of other technical nerds, it's just that it's not too much different from the pro but with less games.

Exclusives give gamers and potential buys intensive to buy one system over the other. But keep telling yourself exclusives don't matter. Nintendo and Sony prove what good exclusives can do, also Microsoft back in the early days.
The games got legs, I've been playing since release and I feel I haven't even scratched the surface. I've complete the story but damm there are so many more missions, lost sectors, stikes PVP and not to mention the raid to come.
even if they don't like Destiny as a franchise, you can't argue with the amount of content you get for the $70 to pay. its good value for money.
