Based of these rumored specs the ps4 will be more game focused while the nextbox will be more live/media focused.

So the ps3 is only 2-3 million behind the 360 right? If we take into account that the 360 came out a year early and say.. 5% extra consoles due to the RROD? What will the figures then?

Can you guys seriously unbiasly disagree with my observations above? If so please explain.
If Microsoft weren't greedy they would at the very least allow basic online play with Silver, but fill it with ads like they have now and no extra services like Xchat, then make Gold ad free and include all the extra services.
It's absolutely disgusting that they make people pay just to get online and play their games on multiplayer when they know for a fact that the selling point for most games these days is the multiplayer.

Would it be fair to say that at least 5 million 360s died due to the RROD? Doesn't that put Sony on top?
The numbers could even be higher, didn't they say it was around a 30% too 40% failure rate?

Dafuq is wrong with you? Your that desperate to compare online passes to a yearly fee? You do realize both ps3 and Xbox owners pay the same price for games right? If there is an online pass it comes free with the game.
Only difference is ps3 owners don't have to pay $60 per year to get online and enjoy said game.

I just dont understand why anyone would want sony to fail?? The blind fanboism by some people is just sad. I own both consoles and wouldnt want any to fall, Being a gamer will only get better and better over time because the competition drives each company to better themselves. Do you guys really think Sony and MS would release the kinect and move without the Wii? That is a prime example of competition benefiting.
Dark Souls is amazing, it has the perfect gameplay, atmosphere, graphics.....
it just need an engaging story and it would be the perfect game.
This would be the perfect way to make the game more accessible to everyone, don't change the gameplay, difficulty or atmosphere... just add a god dam story to why i'm killing all these hard MFing monsters.
