I'm over BR but I did give this game a crack as I'm a massive supporter of Respawn.
Well polished game, probably the most polished BR game to date including amazing user friendly features like pinging etc.
If the building mechanics of FortNiteBR annoys you than this is the BR game for you.
I did delete the game btw as previously mentioned I'm over BR lol. So there's my unbiased opinion.

Gold edition and ultimate editions give early access to dlcs 7 days. Plus extra cosmetics etc.
It does feel polished, this is what Div 1 should have been.
Added that the dlcs are free and not split the community I can see good value in this game.

I'm so curious on how this game runs in consoles? Being an online game pvp I see the stuttering and laggy fps being a huge issue if not sorted.

It was a solid show, it really shows that Ms do want to fight back. Biggest surprise was the five studios, meaning Ms are in it for the long haul.
